I still don't understand how your daughter is connected to this. Do you know who killed who yet or why? This is creepy, I would want to sell too. The cabin will never be the same. You trusted this man and that has to feel a little weird too, especially since you have kids. I still think he was hiding something. This sounds like an NDN mystery. He wasn't hiding anything.
I loved Brazil like a brother and trusted him.
My daughters problem is about a girl she met on the internet who was raped by here dad and my daughter decided to follow in this girls footsteps by self mutilation with a razor blade. There I said it.
She cut herself 9 times. Then she told my wife that she did it because I was mean to her sometimes. That was her first lie. Then she said she read it in a book, but the book was months ago, that was a lie. I knew they were lies so I walked outside and left the rest to my wife. She then admitted about her realationship with her online friend. We have erased that online friend from her life, that was the easy part and she is OK with all of it. We now give her 3 giant hugs a day and talk about getting past this episode and do some healing. This Brazil thing has, in a strange way helped us not over react to our daughters problem and take enough time to agree on a thoughtful loving solution without laying alot of guilt and head trips on her.
It's all about us now.
That is our new montra for the year.

That's a great montra! I never had to deal with "cutting" in my huge family. I don't have much advice for you on this one. I know you love your family. All teenagers go thru the hate thing. You all will overcome this and be a better family because of it. Don't let her hurt your feelings, she doesn't understand what an impact it has on you yet, but one day she will.

well buddy i know your not a bad dad or person. i would say u are the most compassionate here. as for your buddy people like him from what i read on that other post u wrote dont commit murder unless they are provoked. well i hope things go well for u and your family. take it easy buddy.
