I don't want to be like them at any point in the near future, or ever for that matter. They did stack up quite a bit of greenbacks, though.
Just thought I'd throw out there that there's a huuuge difference between being anti-social and becoming anti-social. Klinkman and I both are somewhat anti-social, or socially awkward, although he is moreso than I. Neither of us really like large parties or being forced to be social with people we don't know, or having to deal with people in general sometimes, as they can get annoying. That's completely a different ballgame than becoming anti-social though. That's not really a good thing.

well it took a toll in my family like 3 years ago when i was immersed in it. but i learn when to play. i usually play on the late night so that everyone is asleep. i play b4 wife gets home and i make sure the kids are good oing something before i play when i am watching them during the day. as for being anti social we all have our quirks to us. i dont like being in places when i dont know them. i just leave. parties are boring if i dont know anyone.

Some days I feel the same way. Some days Im all gung ho about getting out and getting wild, sometimes I like to hide out and re-evaluate my life. But, yes you are right about BECOMING anti-social FROM poker is the worst, because it is just stripping you of your livelihood. I would hate to be so over-concerned with playing cards that I temporarily or permanently lose sight of what I really care about, and I think these forums can help keep a balance. however, if you prefer it that way, then no harm no foul.
