O M G I tried to play a little poker tonight, I lost, but I think I am great at it.... A born natural.... NOT, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I don't know if I will be good enough to play with the anybody that knows what they are doing. (at this time) So if I can find a place to play with people, I mean slow people so that i will be the better one there, than, I can do that! That being said, I can tell you I will be good at it one day! Watch and see!

    Default Love poker money

Your skills and patience are one thing.
The games you choose to play, make up a huge percentage of your success.
Sit and goes are great to make a small long term profit. Double up games are good too. The problem is that these games get boring after awhile because they are for a better word (lack the excitement). I do my best at playing in private games with money added. There are lots to choose from on a daily basis. You just got to look for them. When I played a 100 sit and goes a week, I averaged $100 profit a month. I quit playing sit and goes now and spend my free time on NDN forum and play added money games and now averaging $200 a month. Stay away from cash games and re-buy games.
Good examples of good games to play: $1 entry $50 added 17 players.
$2 entry $100 added 40 players. I played in both this week and there are 2 more this week.

Summary: stay active at NDN, choose your games wisely and make a profit.

Thanks for the great advice, freeringo, I really appreciate it. Do they have those kinds of games at FullTilt? That's where I like to play, as their blind structure is best.

Very nice things to hear here today. Those sometimes are just basic rocomendations, but i got to have it on mind every single minute of play. Like a famous saying about poker ( that poker is flame you have to control ) just like your mind. so, the most your remember those basic things like pacience, calmnes, and equilibrated mind, so u dont go tilt, the most you will win, and the most you will learn from it. Thats way i think poker is cool, because is like a meditation, you have to watch yourself 100% of the time. And ringo, yours advice are also very good ones, i´ve also trying to find those kinds of games. As all are privates, we have to be active in many forums. Thats a wonderfull oportunity to lean and earn. And NDN are one of the bests out there.

    Default dirty little secrets

I will let you all in on a secret about other forums.
Most of them only protect their passwords on freerolls.
Their buy-in games (with money added) are not password protected.
You may have to register with site, but that's it.
    Most players know this already.

Thanks... I have to orvercome that tilt that I lost 386 dolars. I think in total I deposited 175 dolars. Trying to withdraw 50. So there is 125 to go. Now I fell more confident with you guys giving all this support. My aim is to get at least 1K until the end of the year.

Thanks for the encouragement Glo. And as I said also for the bad beats, I've learned from them! It's an honor to play at your table.

If and when you do decide to play more, I can vouch for the players here at NDN. They may give you a little crap but they'll be patient with you and you'll definitely learn something. I really don't think anyone here is just in it for themselves- an improvement for one person reflects on all of us.

    FYI
Eejit > she asked where the games were that I play in.
I just don't play Full Tilt.
I have never said Full Tilt was bad.
My only experience at Full Tilt has been during NDN league games.

That's really nice to thank all of the forum for helping you through your poker experience. Especially NDN who hosts this forum. I think it goes to show how important NDN is to the members of the forum.

Congrats on your winnings! Shoot for the stars hun!
