    Default America

Heres another long post but it sis not about poker this time.
This time I want to talk about President Obama and his administration and how they are handling the American recession/depression.
From an Americans point of view I can deifnatley see a change starting, people are starting to populate malls, starting to spend money again, although it is not a great increase you can tell there is definatley an increase in spendature. I just want to take a yes no poll on everyone elses thoughts.
Please keep words kind even if you arent a fan of America For the sake of chest bumping.

He is easing the recession right now short term for the lower 75% of the income field, but its still uncertian to where all this is going led to in about a year. We could hit the side of a cliff and plummit. I hope that dont happen. In my opinion the number on this he should be doing right now is creating jobs. Not giving tax breaks. Jobs Jobs Jobs... What good is 2k more on my tax return if Im unemployed the whole year. Until the jobs start coming back its gonna only get worse before its better.

I'm happy to know that other people give a crap about their kids. I won't be here, I'm moving to Spain as soon as possible (most likely july).

The Bush Administration and his fathers have led us down a road of agony and suffer.

The problems is that we are just not feeling it. How this happened... Beyond me... that is why I'm moving to Spain.

I don't understand how they can read a cigarette label from space but don't know where trillions of dollars went..... RIGHT!.

You see a bank robbery.... Their caught within 6 months. The BANKS don't know what happened to the money. ? ?

I love Oboma and I hope that he does you guys well, I won't be here for it.

I agree that he is doing a great job so far. Its hard to take over such a mess and have people expecting you to turn it around over night.
From my point of view he is doing what he can, and like i said change is coming.
Slowly but surely, we were at rock bottom. Now its time we pull together and turn this around!

That is part of the issue though, to say, "lets forget and move on."

    - Vietnam Veterans

    - 9/11 (Inside Job)

The Trillions of dollars that have been lost.... ohhhh so they can read cigarette labels from space, but can't find trillions of dollars.....Hmm

If you rob a bank, they now put scents on the bills (they've been doing this for years) they can usually trace the money back within 6 months.

How can it be, that trillions of dollars vanished. And I'm sure someone is thinking, "not cash moron! " lol

I agree, it is too early to tell. Obama has a mess to clean up, but I really think he will get us headed back in the right direction. As far as recession goes, it has definitely affected me. I have been laid off for nine weeks now, I am a single father of three boys, and I am more than ready to see a change! I believe Obama can and will do a good job, but it is gonna take some time to feel the difference.

Well lets see he is President and people are still losing their jobs. And the unemployment rate is still going up. Right now it is the worst it has been since 1985. And it is not getting any better. Now what the goverment is saying is that it will take a least 3 years to even out. So what about the people that have no jobs right now what are they going to live on for the next three years. And I know what you will say is why not go out and find a new job. Well let me tell you it is not the easy to find a new job right now, because they are few and far right now. I got laided off in nov of last year and I can not find a job right now. So back to the question it has not got any better since he became President. And I do not see it getting any better anytime soon!!!! I am at the point of moving to tampa because I have a friend that lives their and he say'es he can get me a job down their. And if I can not find a job soon I just might take him up on his offer. Thats my 2 cents on this subject.

i agree with glo bug, obama needs to do a lot of work. I hope this stimulus package helps a lot of people.

time will tell a lot of things........

and for bush i dont think he did a bad job in office. he had a lot on his shoulders when he came in for 9/11
