What kind of cellphone do you own, if any?

A couple days ago I had to trade cell phones with my fiance for a while and let him use my iPhone. Being stuck without my iPhone was very awkward for me (pathetic, I know!) but it made me wonder what kind of cell phones everyone here had, if you own one at all. Do you like the one you have? Do you have a hard time using someone else's? What's your view on iPhone vs BlackBerry?

nah i have samsung black jack 2. its really nice but i want the touchscreen blackberry. iphones suck. u cant send multi media text messages. thats horrible.

i have the lg roumor its great for texting slides out with full keyboard but that dosent help at all with my spelling

With the 3.0 software update this summer, they are adding MMS ability to the iPhone 3G!

I personally don't like the touchscreen BlackBerry at all- aside from it not being user-friendly for me because it's difficult for me to use with my weakened muscles in my arms, the interface seems to be a lot more buggy and slower than the iPhone. Hopefully they'll improve it at some point soon, it's just not there yet. Also I don't believe it has Wi-Fi capability yet, which is a big negative for me.

I have to laugh though at you being a card player with a Blackjack phone though, good call on that!

I use the Moto Q.

I tested every Blackberry there was but I didn't care for any of them. I found the Moto Q (which is Windows based) and I have been happy with it so far.

Which apps do you have? Any I should look into? My favorites are:

- IM+, an instant messaging client
- Facebook
- Flick Bowling, lots of fun and fairly realistic play
- TCGBuddy, a life counter and more for trading card games like Magic: The Gathering
- Scoops, a quick and fun pattern stacking game that makes great use of the accelerometer
- BlocksClassic, a brickbreaker game similar to the one in the NDN Arcade
- Price Is Right, game very similar to the TV show with all the popular games
- Pandora Radio
- Midomi, an app that lets you identify a random song you might be wondering about by spoken, sung or typed lyrics, or you can hold it up to a speaker playing the song and the database will (usually) pick it up correctly
- Textropolis, a fun and challenging word game

I have the sony ericsson w580i jukebox. I don't like it. I liked the older version better. The only reason I got this was cuz its dual mp3 player and it has a 2.0 megapixel camera, but the reception/antenna is not as good as my mom's cheap free samsung phone she got.

Plus, in the hills, service is spotty.
A cell phone saved my wife and I's
life 4 years ago. That's a funny story
now, but scary then. I would recommend
carrying an old phone like I do.
You can still call 911 and collect calls.

Me either, actually, I'm surprised. I don't use mine to talk much, but I don't know what I'd do without it for everything else! Plus it's definitely nice to have for emergencies.

I use sprint have now for three years. The reason I use a cellphone is that it is cheaper then a land line. I am only paying 27 a month to use it as were I was paying 56 for a land line.

I got the BlackJack II. I like the service, but the browser on the phone leaves a lot to be desired. If it isn't a mobile page, it doesn't load very good. It has Windows Mobil, but the IE sucks. Wish I could find a different browser to use that works good on a cell phone. Anyone know of one? I really wish Mozilla had a cell phone browser.
