if it was a freeroll then chasers are always there and will always be there to stay.
Usc, I would never be able to do anything then! I am always tired,"unless I have a MONSTER!!!
Ok, i have alot of issues with this.
1 - please dont post pics, post hand histories!!! Then we cn see how ou played it, i can work out why along with other people, then we can comment!! From that pic all i see is yo lost with QQ to J7c.
2 - Limping with QQ is often a good play. Sometimes you raise, sometimes limp. If you dont mind folding it to an A x x or K x x flop if there s action, then limp all you like. But you must be able to get away from this hand if it misses. And as that is the worst flop imaginable (overcards, Flush draws, Straight possibilities, AND factor in that you cant even draw to the nut hand, its either a simple cehck/fold, or you bet, if they raise, you fold, if they call, afer the turn you should know your beat so fold then.
3 - i dunno i forgot 3, but ill remember it
As usual, I have to come in here and clean up what eejit messed up.
Personally, I never limp big pairs. But, that has more to do with my general image then any deep theories. I raise a lot of hands, so if I suddenly start limping, hmm... For some, limping works better, as it my disguise their hands. As to what the books say: F*** the books.
Now, you have to slow down on that flop, obviously. I don't see me losing a 8k pot at 150/300 stakes to an AKJ flop. Here is where you need to exercise pot control. Now, where eej messed up: after the turn, you do have 6 to the nuts, and a T makes a decent hand. Now, here is where you have to rely on your reads (if you had been at the same table, and he had, since the first hand, you should have a decent read on him). I do probably lose a decent pot here, but it is going to be more in the area of 2-3k, as letting go of QQ, or slowing down if you are betting it, is pretty easy to do.
I agree with Borgo
