Why hasn't it rained in Reno Nevada since November 20th?

my theory is that the magnetic North Pole has shifted drasticly in the last 6 months and now the North pole is in Siberia.
this would explain why Alaska has had over 20 feet of snow in the last month
if this is true then San Francisco is now where LA use to be
look for milder temps in US
