I Dont undestand this sentense. How can someone have the right odds having the worst hand? can someone please explain it to me?

Think of it this way... if you bet 550 chips with 27 and someone pushes behind you all in with 600 chips, the odds are in your favor to call that remaining 50 chips regardless of how far behind you are.
