    Default New donkey here

Hi, somebody in forum (navuta) told me that newbies should introduce herself here.

Newbie from Lithuania. Male, age 31. Interested in poker few months ago. Now I'm studying some poker literature and trying to build bankroll on some poker rooms. Deposited only once on FTP (10$) and of course lost them all. Since then I have main rule: no deposits. Never.
After cashing in some freerols, I'm playing heads up with 1$ buy-ins. I don't even look at higher buy-ins yet, and I think I'm right. Managed fill my accounts up to 10-30$ on few sites.

I'm usually play heads up SNG's in few iPoker network rooms. My nicknames there are: Maishas; Maishas21 and similar. Also, rarely You can find me on Party poker.

    Something like that

Welcome to the forum and enjoy yourself!! I hope you have a good time and as far as the language thing goes your right I am willing to bet 99.998% of the people here could not speak your language, however in the future as a guy you should not refer to yourself as "herself" unless of course you had some medical alterations were not aware of? lol anyway welcome and good luck!!

    Welcome to the forum.
I think you are quite right not to deposit again while you're still inexperienced.
That is how I started out as well. Freerolls and no deposit bonuses.
Private freerolls are really a good value. Often, the prizepool is just as large as a regular freeroll but the fields are much smaller.
You should check out the link for the NDNPT and then find out how to earn chips. After you've posted for a while and gain a few rep points, you can earn chips fast and play in freerolls across a few different sites.
This will let you build up a bankroll on even more sites.
Also, if you're in to football (american football that is) check out the link for the LL (loser's league).

Actually, I didn' said that I will not deposit again. I said I will never deposit.
If You made a deposit - Casino won, You made a cashout - Casino lost. Its simple as that.
Of course I can understand experienced players, who can afford deposit hudreds/thousands and milk some rich noobs there. They have no time to build banrolls from zero. But deposits big as 10-20$ seems marginal to me. If You can't get these 10$ from freerols, most likely You will lose that small deposit anyway. Of course everything is fine if You consider Yourself as an recreational player, who enters poker room to have some fun, not gain some money.
As for no deposit bonuses - I have one of them. Pokerstrategy's free 50$ on Pacific poker. I received 50$ and managed to go up to 70$ in two days, but then I decided to leave it as it is. When this bonus will expire they will take back those 50$ and will leave me whats left of it (about 15$ as I remember). Some strange things started on other day, but I don't want to get in details, couse I'm not sure if these talks allowed here. I don't want to be banned so early. I just prefer clean (bonus free) accounts from then, thats all I'm saying.

And thanks for the last two advices, I'll check that losers league and NDNPT.

Hello and welcome to what I like to call the NDN Ranch! We're all like family here, so pull up a seat at the poker table, put on your forum writing hat and enjoy all that we have to offer! There are free drawings and contests all the time, so there's always money to be made and something to be won here!

To start earning chips from forum posts, you must first earn reputation points from the moderators for a quality post, so keep that in mind. You can use your chips to buy in to our (currently daily) chip games on various internet poker sites. You can also use your chips to purchase lots of great prizes, some that even us veterans on the site don't even know about yet!

If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask any member here or send a private message to NDN or eejit, one of us'll help ya out!

    Well,
What I was saying is that after you've made a bit of money and cashed out some of it. I could see making a deposit if there is another site you want to play on or some sort of reload bonus. If your bankroll gets big enough, you probably want to cash out some money and plan to use it for one of these opportunities. But yeah, it is definitely possible to never deposit or to deposit only using money that you've already won.
I doubt you would get banned by posting about something like that here. Worst comes to worst, you'll get a warning and maybe the post would get deleted.
I guess if you are not sure, you should just ask if posts of a certain type are allowed and then you'll know what to do in the future.
