NO it is not a trick question lol
well i think durr did it because he is really good and has a bankroll for those big hits he takes every so often. i dont think he cheated. he is a well respected player online and live. he plays big games and wins big pots thats how he did it.
I cant belive how can someone be spectacular in poker..
I mean.. Iven after u have all the possible math calculated automatic in head, after playing 1 million high stakes hands. And being a professional. What does it takes to be a REAL GOOD POKER PLAYER?
Being tight agrecive dont look enought for me? what does those people have along luck that we all dont have? Pacience? Bluffing strategy? Table image?
I really dont get it...
can someone try to explain me?
Years and years of experience. Seeing many possible outcomes. Having a wide range of moves. Being able to swap styles instantly upon the table variance. Being able to read, even online. Reading. Learning. Always learning. Learning more. Concentrating. Knowing bettering patterns. Knowing equity, EV, fold equity, odds, all math based things.
And also, and this is a main one, having a winning record over a huge amount of hands before thinking they are any good.
Take me, ive won, but not enough, so at best i describe myself as "slightly above average"

Just my two cents here but one common theme I see in durrr and many other pros is how they can control their temper. I've watched durrr lose huge hands at FT and get stacked a bunch of times, but he obviously doesn't let it affect his game.
So Navuta, I think this is where you could improve your game a little. You have posted time after time about how upset and angry you are at Carbon and you continue to play while you are still upset and angry. So maybe stop playing when you get like that and calm down before you play again. For me personally, I have a very hard time doing that. I've lost many bankrolls while playing on tilt or trying to win money back playing blackjack. So to me, I think apart from the obvious math skills these pros seem to have, self control seems to do nothing but help them win.
Have you watched Durr play? He may be good, but boy is he lucky too.
