I didn't answer the question to this thread. So I will now. No I am not happy. I am trying like you wouldn't believe but it just is not working. I am everything but happy. Now can any body explain this and help me? Or is happiness a personal thing that only comes from within?

When we depend on others and other things to make us happy, is it not temporary? Is that not the kind of happiness that washes away when those things are gone? So then how can we find true happiness? The kind that comes from within in us? Because things and other people seem to always let us down.

I all too often find myself saying, "as soon as this or that comes or happens every thing will be so much better.? But when those things come, it is then something else I am waiting for. Should I not be happy in the moment before the moment passes me by? As tomorrow never comes..... How ever can we let go of the mistakes we have made and love ourselves for who we are and be happy? When every day I live and those things of regret stare me in the face and never go away. However can we live happy when it seems that all of the things we live for are gone. What does life have for us? Aside of pain and tears.

You question is far too deep for me I'm afraid.

This sounds like something that the methodical freeringo can answer better than any attempt I could make.

NDN should have said: grab a sixpack and a bucket of skipping rocks and head to the water.
That would do the trick and make anyone happy and carefree.

    x + 24pack + towel = x + x+

    Ignorance is bliss

    You heard that one right?

Well think about it a moment. Let it settle in.
The trick to true happiness is to be easily amused.
You never get bored because your amusing yourself all the time.
I know it's not easy if your are bombarded by outside influence.
If you can't find some tranquilty at home, then find it somewhere else.
You need 2 hours everyday for just yourself.
Hopefully it will be 2 hours spent with us at the forum.
A lock on your computer room could help too.

    Cheer up Lori
We are here for you and to get you smiling again.
I shall make it my personal mission to cheer you up everyday.
