that was a pretty amazing post as I fell into that trap once. it wasnt for nearly the kind of money you were playing for but I too had to sit back and say what am I doing?? I had won like 280 bucks and thought I was a god so instead of playing my usual 10/20 cent ring I found myself at the 50/100 cent table went way up, then way down, then way out. I never felt so stupid and ashamed of myself for being such a dumb**s. although I was not playing for the kind of money your talking about the lesson was the same and I have not forgotten it. sorry you had to learn the lesson at a much higher pricetag.

I got my compulsions in check one day when I was on the Sportsbook casino, up a couple hundred from the sports betting and poker, and decided to play ****ing war. $2. Lose. $5. lose. $10. Lose. $25. Lose. $50. Win. $50. Win. $100. Win. $100 Lose. $100 Lose. $100 Lose. $100 lose.

I was playing $100 a hand. On ****ing war.

The only game that can get to me like that any more is Blackjack, which is why I try my best to avoid any places that offer online blackjack. I never let things like this happen in person because, like eejit said, it's just numbers on a screen when playing online.
