Why read a book when I can save several hours and watch a movie? The only books I make a point to read are Michael Crichton. And even then, I'd rather just watch Jurassic Park The other movies suck though.

U sound just like an 10 year old boy.
If u dont like reading books, thats your probem, but saying reading is wasting time is sad.
I hope u have readed more than 10 whole books in your life.
    At least poker books.
Im reading the "insider Secrets of Poker" right now. I like poker books, but trying to aply what a read is a little complicated.

I read all the time, but I'm very specific about what I read, and for the most part, I'd rather watch a movie on the big screen than read the same story.

No, more specific with my authors and genres. Like I said earlier, I read mostly Crichton but I do venture out occasionally to some other stuff.

I normally don't read books that have movies because I prefer to read a different kind of books. But I once read (Of Mice and Men) and later watched the movie. But you know the movie leaves out things in books.

It is kind of weird to think that there are books out talking about Genetically-Engineered Humans... I want to see a book explain just how they think they can genetically engineer a human soul... Very interesting!

I think that some of the things you say this book states may be true, but they probably aren't telling the whole story.
There could have been two nuclear bombs dropped on N.C. , but it was more than likely an accident and the bombs obviously didn't explode.
Many things that are seen on the television or that you read in the newspapers are basic facts but can be distorted or taken out of context(they do not tell the whole story)so that they fit the needs or views of whoever is telling them.
The C.I.A. and military call these things Dis-information or Mis-information.
Things are very often shown in a way that the people presenting them want.
You have to keep this in mind and use your own brain to decipher what is really true and what is not.
