    Exclamation Important Announcement

August 31st is the final day that you will be able to redeem your chips for poker money, casino money, or Amazon.com money.

On September 1st, these items will be removed from The NDN Shop.

If you would like to redeem your chips for any of these items, please do so before August 31st.

Due to a predicted increase in the volume of these requests, all requests made from this point on will be processed within 90-days as opposed to the standard 7-day processing period that we have been using.

After September 1st your chips will essentially have no cash value so it's extremely important that you redeem them before that date.

The loyalty system is an important part of NDN and it will continue to be a unique feature even after these items are removed from The NDN Shop.

Here are some examples of things that you will be able to redeem your chips for in the near future:

Daily, Weekly, and Monthly drawings for poker money.

Monthly drawings for large items (such as Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and more).

Frequent freeroll poker tournaments with real money prize pools (possibly as frequent as 1-2 games per day).

There are many more things that you will be able to do with your chips in the near future.

Changes are coming soon so be sure to keep an eye out for them!

I will be here no matter what! Because I love you NDN! If I said it once I will say it 1000 times over, I was here before the chip system and I will be here if there isn't a chip system at all. Obviously I am not here for money! True people and true friend = a whole lot more than money could ever buy!

I'm with B...I was here way before the chip system and I will be here after the chip system. This site has given me lots of entertainment thru the years and will continue to do so. NDN has also helped with some of life's problems. What other site can you play poker, blackjack, sports and vent all at the same time. NDN offers everything and for this I say thank you. NDN, you're the best!

    Thanks for your understanding everyone!

I fully expect to make this place better with every change that I make, so I hope that's the case with this one. It shouldn't take too long to start seeing some new things, so just keep an eye out.

    Regarding The BAP:

You can continue to redeem your chips for BAP shares up until the 13th (or whatever day we have it scheduled to close for new shares).

From that point on, it's likely that BAP shares will need to be purchased with real money.

Just to be clear, the BAP shares will always hold their real cash value. They will be paid out via poker transfers and not chips.

No problem, I think we will always understand your side NDN.

I dont like the idea of not being able of redeem chips for the bap.
But I understand your side, since the bap shares will be tranferred as poker money, so, it would not make sense for u to let people be able to redeem share for money. Otherwise it would be tha same thing as buying poker money with chips.
    So, I hope all the changes can make people happy enought to make than come here everyday, like I do and love.;
THANK U ONCE MORE NDN... U ARE GREAT...

I enjoyed using the chips to get money on fulltilt. I'm sad to see this option expire, but look forward to the changes in store.

Right on NDN. I'll miss the Amazon.com money, but I'm sure you have something better in mind, at least I hope so! I plan to stick around, but I'll wait until you give us more detail about what's changing before I comment Only fair. Either way, I'm not going anywhere!

My only question initially though is how the rep system will work with the new changes with less opportunities to use chips for money prizes?

Also regarding the BAP- can shares bought with real money be paid for through poker money we have at various sites? Or will this need to be done with a credit card?

I'm not 100% certain yet, but I believe we will still be using the rep system. Since you will still be able to use your chips for various things, the system will still be open to abuse so we will need to be able to limit the abuse with the rep system and the other "rules" that we have in place.

BAP shares can be purchased using your chips up until it closes and shares can no longer be purchased.

When the BAP opens and shares can be purchased again, you can use your poker money on any of the four sites that we'll be using.

Just a quick question. What four sites are gonna be used for the BAP?

Cake, Full Tilt, Poker Stars, PDC/Carbon are the rooms we will be using for the BAP.

Is it NDN's recommendation that we dump our chips now or should we save them for better days ahead?

I am confused by the sudden mix up of things, after we were just getting use to the new rep system. (just 30 days old) Now it sounds like it may be abandoned.

Being in limbo is the worst feeling.
I don't know what to do with my chips now.

    Is bingo worth playing anymore?
Is the poker room going to die?

The idea that a chip is worth real money has such an appeal.
The idea that a chip will get you a lottery ticket not as appealing.

Waiting and not knowing is such bitter sorrow.

Farewell chips for cash, we will miss you.

I know it's none of my business NDN, but I need to ask.
I always wondered about the legal ramifications regarding chips for cash.
Did your accountant have somthing to do with this?

This is a scary statement to me.
This sounds like a business going out of business or going bankrupt.

NDN, you have scared everyone on the forum, with no explanation and a predicted long wait till any of us see the new plan.

We just went through an emotional turmoil 30 days ago with the new rep system.
Now we all have to deal with this new confusing change when we are all a little fragile right now.
I'm feeling hurt and Eejit being gone 9 days.
I feel like a week from now, Eejit comes back and yells APRIL FOOLS or something like GOTCHA.

    Talk to us please NDN.
    You owe us this much.
    Tell us Why?

At least tell us something that should get us excited.
    We need that right now.
    Im deflated, pump me up

If you have any doubt that what I have planned won't be of any interest to you, then I would suggest you redeem your chips for poker money before the deadline.

You will always be able to earn more chips, so it's better safe than sorry.

I personally believe that the chips will still be highly valuable in the future and that they won't lose any appeal.

Since the chips will still be of value, I think the poker room and bingo game will still be popular and I have no plans to get rid of either game (the developer is still working on changes to the games and I will get the Racetrack and Blackjack back up as soon as he can get the changes done).

Just to be clear, you will have complete control over your chips and what you choose to do with them is up to you. You will not have to invest your chips in the future in any "lottery" situations. There will be added drawings, but there will also be many other things that you can do with the chips. I briefly outlined some of the new changes (I think in this post) but I will try to add a more detailed post in a few moments.

There were several things that motivated me to make this change, but legal issues wasn't one of them. The loyalty system was perfectly legal and we will be continuing with a system that's still extremely valuable to everyone.

There is nothing to be scared of in that statement. It would be EXTREMELY rare that any request would take longer than the usual 7-day period, but I implemented that term just to cover myself in case there was a massive amount of requests (specifically casino money requests because it can take a while for them to get the information to me).

I don't believe I have "scared" anyone on the forum (although your post might have scared people). You will begin to see the new changes/plan this month and until then you are still free to earn/redeem your chips for poker money, casino money, and Amazon.com money.
