My friend in WSOP Main event

This thread is basically a shoutout/ deep alert for a guy i know that is deep in the 2009 world series of poker main event. A coworker of mine staked his cousin in the main event a few years back, and he cashed so he thought he would give him a chance this year as well. The guys name is kevin schaffel, and is still in the main event even though there is only around 50 players left. I have played with this guy before and he is a solid player. Nobody you would want to play against as you always think he knows exactly what you have/ and what you are planning on doing.

So just keep an eye on him, obviously they are deep into the money, but im callin it right now that he will final table when all is said and done. So wish him luck!!

YESSSSS haha unbelievable. Now he has four months to try and figure out how to beat ivey and everyone else at that stacked table. This has to be the best main event table there has ever been in recent years. A ton more pros (Kevin is a semi-pro) than any other year. He is going to be busy the next few weeks but after that i will try and get in touch with him. I still cant believe that he did that wow. And yea im sure he will get a deal but he is already a guaranteed millionaire which is even more shocking. Again congrats to ivey and everyone as well. Ivey has had the sickest WSOP run in decades, i mean cmon 2 bracelets and now this? Holy moly.

Thanks everyone for railing him with me, hopefully we can all rail him in november as he fights his way to the top. He needs to shoot the moon, literally to get there lol haha

I'll rail him and I will even support him if he make's it to the final two with Ivey because let's face it.

Ivey has enough money with his full tilt status.
