The Origin of Alias's

Was wondering where people got their ndn names from or their poker names. Some are pretty obvious (taylovesbeatles :-p) but there are definately some im interested in hearing the origins of. I dont think Ive seen a thread like this, hope im not duplicatin.
I feel i should go first, so if anyone doesnt already know, Max Power is from the simpsons. Homer changes his name, and of all the names he wanted to change it to, this was the only one he spelled right. (also, he got it off a hairdryer) If you like the simpsons and u havent seen that episode see it. I also use Hank Scorpio, also from the simpsons, episode "you only die twice" i believe its called. It is THE best simpsons episode ever.

Mines easy.

I was 14, just got the "net" 10 years ago, joined a forum with a friend for an old PC game, AvP (alien vs predator) and needed a forum name. Was messing about taking in Irish at the time, so "eejit" was said. Added the 101 because the base name eejit was taken for hotmail, and fiured 101 is easy to remember

Ive had the same aol, poker names, and the like since i was 16. Seems like most ppl who r online alot keep the same ones, like, its your online rep or suntin. Oh and TY tay

Ringo got busted for pot in London years ago and I have had the name freeringo for 9 years now.

I changed it a few times to see what would happen on the poker table and found that my reputation got players to fold more often to my raises.

Yeah mine's the same as my Yahoo! name and my FullTilt username (Beatles1964t) is the same as my AIM screen name. I really like my PDC username though, as it's me but geekier!

I got the nickname PANAMHIEST after watching an episode of CSI las vegas. In the show it was a old murder mystery based in vegas that involved of alot of the old mafia members alot of which founded the las vegas casino industry, and some of the dirty little secrets of the powers to be.

When I first started playing poker many many moons ago I couldn't think of any name but my own. this really sucked and one day a buddy of mine asked if i play poker 24/7? because back then I was playing poker at bet 365 and would set the alarm for 3:30 am to wake up and register for the 4:00am $1000 freeroll they had daily. After that I used the name 24/7Poker at many sites and when some sites wouldn't allow a username to begin with a number i just changed it to Twenty47 and i use that name everywhere now.... well except where it's already taken and then i use something like gottheflop or got......
