I had to go all in with AK suited
BB had QQ and calls.
I flop a set of aces and the river comes a queen.
If I didn't go all in preflop
I may have been able to get him off his QQ.
Who knows?
Stupid play or bad beat?

Why do you want him off his QQ on that flop?
So I'm not stupid, just confused.
It was a bad beat and keep doing what I'm doing
cause it's working?
Thanks Eejit for your words of wisdom.
Tee up the next tourney, I am ready.
Obviously a bad beat. Preflop 50:50 (when the money went in), after the flop you are a big favorite and than he hits his miracle card with about a 5% chance. If this is not a bad beat I don't know what a bad beat is. Definitely it has nothing to do with being stupid.
Hey thats poker not much u can do win some lose some every hand is a winner just all depends what out and what u got and how the betting goes and who is loose who is tight u can play it prefect and lose to some donkey or someone that is on tilt or just someone who dont know how to play the game
Remember this when looking at the outcome of a hand. If you changed the time of your INITIAL call, you change the outcome of the ENTIRE hand. Most of the large sites have what is called a rotating deck. This means that the remaining cards never stop shuffling. If you change the timing by so much as a 1/2 second you change the entire hand. So, with the current timing giving you the great flop, but the horrible river, there is nothing you can do. If you make a different raise and the other player acts faster than he did in the hand, the flop is different, the turn is different, and the river is different. Just something to consider in the future.
it easy to say what you could have done after the hand to win it....but you wakes up woth qq in the BB.....i doesnt happen alot and it was a good move preflop.....it was that one time they woke up with a high pocket pair...
so dont beat yourself up because 70 percent of the time you win that preflop and 20 percent you get a A weak to call and the 10 percent they have a MONSTER......so dont worry about it freeringo....you will get it next time.....thenutzaa1
it was nither a bad beat nor a bad play....Ak vs QQ is the typical race situation.....if u hadn't gone all in preflop and he made that call then its a bad beat....but any way you look at it money was in preflop...to a coinflip
