    hey it allows me to download them but then when i click on then to run....for example FTP says "trying again" b4 it even says connecting and stuff...just straight to trying again....operating system is windows....i can't remeber what year

    It's probably most likely windows xp, 2000. or newer.

    At least that's what I would think at first.

    well if u have windows 98 it is time to upgrade. lol i think it is your firewall or u got a virus. do a scan and see what it comes up with. i had this problem b4 and it was a virus.

    nah u just have save whats not corrupted and download your os all over again. im glad my wife works in IT. or else i would be screwed.

    I had the same problem with FTP earlier today. It works fine now.

    Or, get it upgraded to new windows, XP or Vista, i love Vista personally.
