Default Shutting down LeBron James, coach???

ok this is a "put yourself in his shoes" type of question...
LeBron James is an outstanding player...what i saw on sportcenter this morning, didn't amaze me because he does this regularly, but lets say you are the coach in the nba finals against the Cavaliers. How do you guard the BEST all-around player in the NBA...whats your strategy...i'll give you some example...

1)Put your best defensive player on him regardless of his size

2)match up a scrappy/quick little guy to annoy the crap out of him, leaving low post opportunities

3)match him up with your small forward and hope he doesn't get crapped on too bad

4)Put a big guy(PF) on him and make him shoot the long ball

5)double team him as much as possible and make the role players beat you

reply which one and tell me why and what his the weakness is

Lebron James is good, dont get me wrong but he is still a ballhog and there can only be one ballhog King in basketball and that would be Jordan who Lebron is not even close to in skill. So he can keep pushing people around traveling all he wants to without even being called for it. Just remember Jordan is the King.

DID you see lebron last night 4/5/09

he did whatever he wanted last night......

they guard him close he would go in for the dunk with ease and if they gave him space lebron hit a J.......

I think lebron and the cavs are going all the way this year.....

    Boston is nothing without KG

Cavs vs Lakers finals good match up by the way....and it would bring a lot of attendance to see this match up!!!!!

    Lets go cavs

    Default King James

I dont believe there really is a way to stop him. You know hes gonna outplay everyone on the court, so you have to lock up everyone else and not let anyone other than James to burn you up. Definately not too much fun for any opposing coach to have to worry about.

sorry cardshark, i don't agree...what i saw in some of his playoff games, when he wasn't on fire shooting the rock, he made his opponents pay when they doubled him and passed off to someone for a layup or 15 footer...many times!
