    Default $5-0 Pokerstars

So i get the 5, from NDN on Stars and I sit down at the nickel dime table. I know it is out of my bankroll to do so but I figured I would wait for my hand. I picked up wired kings in the big blind. Folds around to the deal and he min raises to .20. Small calls I make it $1, deal calls, small folds. Flop 8QJ (QJ of clubs) I pushed after he checked. I know I shouldn't have pushed but I can't exactly put him on 2 clubs. He calls... 9 clubs on the turn and then a blank on the river. So upsetting.

Those bad hands will come aboard and escaping them is the key, also, if you are gonna play low cash games, play $2.50 on 2 tables instead of the whole $5 in one, once you reach $5 on both tables, then stay there or follow shortstack strategy and starts again with $2.50 on another 2 new tables

That's usually what I do but I figured if I were to catch a bad beat on one of them I would be left with 2.50. The problem being that most idiots will call you down just because you have 2.50 while sucking out on you.

Very true, low levels can be tricky and hilariously tough

I'm really not a donk, I consider I play extremely well and get extremely unlucky, and its the truth, rarely am I all in when behind in a hand, but rarely do I win a big one as well....

I understand you are upset you lost your $5, but top pair losing to a flush, even when you didn't give him odds to call, isn't a "bad beat." Most of it can be summed up with one word. Variance. A "bad beat" in the casino world is quads or better beat. Most sites use the same rule. I understand that you lost $5 to a long draw, but what 2 clubs did he call with? If it was AK of clubs, he wasn't that far behind. If it was 3/4 of clubs that is a different story. You didn't tell us what clubs he had, so we are left to wonder.
