Ed I qualified for the warm up and the million not to long ago.I played in both and didn't cash in either.I would probally still play,"just not all day" before the tourney.Lots of cash to be won, but alot cash in those smaller ones to.I say PLAY!!!!!
It depends. Will you still have money to play if you lose? If so I would go for it! Good luck!
of course u play
I actually advocate the opposite. If you wouldn't normally buy in to a tournament that big it makes more sense to take the tournament dollars and play smaller tournaments. Note that if the 200$ isn't a big impact on your bankroll then go for it, but if it is I would take the tourney dollars.
I would at least take the $215 and play as many more Sunday Mill qualifiesr as I can.
If I win 1 more ticket, then I would play it, but secure a win is good here too.
Unless you have a 10K BR you should not be playing the $200+ MTTs lol, yet we all do huh? LMAO
Good luck and great DS win
Perhaps quite foolishy i thought id take a shot at 4 x $57.50 STT's. thinking if i won at least one id be content...
i think the main question is how many times can i flop a King high flush against a flopped A High flush!!
well he's playing at stars! enuff said! Some of those damm beats are crazy, I to did well for awhile Ed, hit the same s-n-g-s, with the same result. I know bad beats happen but its making me wonder again, some of that crap infuriates me.
We all know that bad beats happen at every site. With the millions of hands that are played everyday, however it still feels like a slap in the face when you get one yourself
quitters never win! play
lol i've devoted the past 3 weeks to playing non-stop on stars...and lets just say i feel like i've been slapped in the face so much i think my jaw is broken...i mean its unreal how many times in a row KK gets cracked by A 3 off suit, and QQ gets beat my JJ and AA gets beat by J 9 suited..lol
You know i completely agree, im not saying it is fixed or anything like that however i have been being staked at both $1.10 45man games and $3.40 10man games and the beats are just horrible, it seems everytime i get all in with better kicker, they hit the kicker and with the pot, or AA gets outdone by 10 8 os.
oh and the amount of times i have raised on the button or small blind only to find AA or KK in the BB is unbelievable!!!
yup same with me..its getting unbelievable, i've bs'd away over 150 dollars lately all by this stguff happening, and i dont care if you're the best player in the world, but it makes you go on tilt no matter what..
well I made about 10 pics of trips there, where I lost to other trips. It was so bad that USC suggested I start folding trips.I am not saying its rigged either, but the closer I got to changing my status the worst the beats got.I am really bummed about poker now, will be glad when our tour starts back, and least will will be getting bad beats among us.
Yeah but also think that as you are seeing about 10 times more hands per hour than you would at a live game, all these bad beats are really prone to happen and will happen and will continue to happen for as long as poker exists LOL
