The first club to be built on Highway 91 was the Pair-o-Dice Club in 1931. This is a fact.
It is also a fact that this section of Highway 91 is not part of, as you called it, the current "strip".
On a side note, the Pair-O-Dice was oringally called a nightclub, and not a casino. It was only upon the rebuild in 1942 that it was classed as a casino.
So - Not on the strip, and not even a casino.

after reading an article saying that it was not a casino i went to the dictionary and the description of a casino so fits the pair o dice club that I had to march to the beat of my own drum and denounce wikepedias idea. I thought you of all people would have explored further also...hmmmmmm.
