Im in the mood for some general musing and thoughts, and usually these are quite good, so heres hoping (im gonna ramble!)

Lazyness

I am a lazy bastard. I can state that catergorically. If i could get paid and live comfortably doing nothing i would, aside from 1 night a week where id go and some something. I dont know why, but I just have no motivation. However today, i decided to kick my own ***. I am fed up of a lack of fulltime hours at my job, so i got a new one i think in about 45 minutes. Screw em. Im gonna sell out to capitalism and work 9-5. There goes my NDNPT games for a majority, and all my nightly fun with NDN and other forum members, but its something i have to do i think.

Im sorry, but i cannot stand people who cant think of anything to write for chips. I can come up with a response that will fill pages to pretty much any thread on this forum if i put my mind to it, and most of it would be on topic. This is entirely the reason why reading this forum to rep everything is taking so long. People are making new threads for things that are already being discussed elsewhere. And half the posts in the general section are just..... crazy. This is my opinion though and please keep posting it if you wish. I cant and wouldnt stop you if i could. I just dont get what 1 person finds funy and noone else does to be readable. If everyone realised the forum isnt to be used for fun, then once in a while for some serious posting of utter **** for a few chips, my life, and everyones elses, would be 100x easier.

Chips

This site rocks. Name me one other site with this much stuff either going on or coming up. I am honestly shocked we dont have 1million active members a day.

As for this being the best poker site as a couple of new members are saying.... Im forced to disagree (please dont hate me). I mean, while i strive to answer everything poker related, usually in so much detail it hurts, we dont get enough responses from insightful poker players on here to pass on knowledge and give their advice. The better you get at poker, the more similar style you will have to the other good players. Its a proven fact. In cash games for sure, the only thing dividing peoples profits at the bigger levels is luck. Some people suck and just do it for fun or whatever, or take shots, but the big guys all play very very similar. And half of the advice i give on here ive directly been given before, or have stolen and reinterpreted for use here. My thoughts are my own, but the basis behind them i may have been using for some time from the lips of another player.

Harry Potter 6 is out soon. Cant wait.

Women

Weirdly, for me anyway, ive been single for nearly 10 months now. And to be honest ive only just noticed and done something about it. Weird how i went from serious relationship to another one, stopping off at the obvious places (one night stands and stuff) in between. Now im hunting again! And to be honest, its fun. I have a date with a STUNNING girl next week, and to add to the stunning part we have loads in common. She even plays a bit of poker.

How can it go from so beautiful over here to so **** in about 4 hours. I left hte house in sunshine, wearing a Tshirt and jeans. I walk home after chatting to a girl for an hour at her work (weirdly not the one fromt he above thread) and its raining "cats and dogs". I got soaked in 1 minute flat. Weather sucks. I love it when its hot in the day, just wish if it was raining it would do it at 5am or something.

Planes

Come on, how the hell do you make a metal tube fly by adding some sticking out bits of metal with tiny flaps. And this is coming from me, someone who can legally (i think) fly a small non commercial propellered plane.

Also, since they banned smoking on flights, they refresh the air every 17 minutes. When you oculd smoke, it was every 3 minutes.

so technically its healthier to allow smoking on planes.

I have a spot on my forehead, its annoying me as its small and not popable! Grrrrrrrr

Now the Snow Patrol songs are great, and everyone on here should listen to those 2 at least. Run was the first song of theirs I've heard, and Chasing Cars is still my favorite. It's kinda been "our" song since Tay and I first started dating, and will probably be our first dance at our wedding reception.

I agree with you on the poker advice thing, and especially wish new members wouldn't just come in and post stuff like "Bankroll is important!11" We know that already, though yes it's nice to get a reminder sometimes, but seriously. I think every new member lately has posted that or something similar. As for me, I really get something out of the personal stories, like your 65k win or even Kaci's bad beat. Those are what I learn from, where I can apply what I pick up from the pros to real life applications in the lives of people I care about or whatever.
