Anyone know of some good books they have read? I am no longer allowed to have the television on at work, so the only thing I can do for 12 hours straight is read... Just when I was starting to get my viewing routine down too. Late night, Poker after dark, O'rielly factor, Angel, Mike and Mike in the Morning. ***, lol... The last 4 days (12 hour shifts) I have read -"Telling Lies, Cues to deceit in the marketplace, politics, and marriage. By Paul Ekman and -"Secrets of a profesional poker player" by Roth Slotboom... Both were ok books. I cant say I learned a whole lot from either. Alot of what was in there was common sense stuff that I already knew. However, I did learn one or two things from each, Which is worth the investment in time spent I guess... Thanks any suggestions would help me out.

I sent eejit101 a John Daly book that I thought was fantastic!
When he is finished with it, I think he is sending it to Lilred.
When Lilred is finished with it, I am sure he'd be happy to send it to you.
We'll see how many people we can get this book around to!
Eejit suggested that everyone add a post card to the book from where they are.
I think it's a marvelous idea!

Please add me to John Dalys book list. Right now I am reading a book I got for Christmas. Dean Koontz.....Life Expectancy. My favorite book of all time is titled Trout Fishing In America, not a sportsmans book but a light hearted comedy. You will like it I guarantee and most will love it.

I want to read the Angels and Demons book... the harry potter and davinci code, I have seen the movies and don't have any desire to read the books now. I have heard of that john daley book. I saw him on tv promoting it a while back. John daley is as much of a interesting sports figure that most of us will ever come across. He's like the anti Tiger woods.
