Birthday tourneys

hello every one i just thought of a great idea!!!!!!!!!!

what is it you ask ???

well as it is globugs b day today and i havent been able to play a tourney here cause of work my brain and wheels started moving i was thinking maybe we can hold chip buyins or freerolls or buy in tournys at the bday person fav site and have bountys on them or a person of there choice and other suchness any one like this idea

This is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how it would work.

With almost 4,000 members, that could end up being quite a few tournaments.

It takes some notice to get games into the poker systems too, so that could be a potential problem.

We could do a weekly/monthly birthday tournament, but I would hate to limit the games to just those people who had a birthday that week/month.

We could invite everyone and put a bounty on everyone who had a birthday recently, but then it starts to get difficult when everyone forgets to remember who takes them out of the game (or when we create a special promotion for everyone and then they forget to show up)!

Lets have a little more discussion in this thread and I am sure we'll be able to come up with something fun!

very well put it could get confusing i like the weekly and monthly idea sisnt know we were up to that man members sure some of them are just freerollers and other nonsence but the bountys on the bday people is an awesome idea so they kinda haffta work harder in the tourneys if we do monthly buyins say 2 dollars plus 50 fee 1 dollar in pot one dollar on head of person with the people whos bday it was for that month getting staked as there gift or getting a ticket or what not might be an idea we can throw around ........ any other suggestions
