Earthquake!!!

So, I was surfing the forums about 3 hours ago and BOOM!!! 6,2 degree earthquake hit my country, epicenter just 25 miles away from me, and I tell you it was STRONG and lasted at least 40 seconds, replicas have been insane as well =o/

Its been all over the news, we even made CNN lmao!

I have only been in one earthquake in my life. I heard my some dishes rattle in the cupboard. I had thought that a big truck had went by. Later on the news I heard about the quake.

Thanks guys, all good, many people died, up in the mountains the rodas went down the hills, there have been well over 400 replicas, its been a scary night =o/

Yikes USC, glad you are ok. Those earthquakes are so damn scary, we get quite a few here as well, and haven't had the big on in awhile, we're due!

Plates are real mate, 100% real, the Earth is not expanding, but all the floating plates over magma are moving closer or further away from each other and when become in contact earthquakes occur.

How can you explain Pangea then? I mean, all continents were closer much closer and almost 1 together milions of years ago, if there are no plates, who moved the continents to where they are? hmmmm
