I really enjoy comedy, and even bought xm radio for my car basically only for the comedy stations that come with it. Whenever i come to a good comedian i write down the name and look up some of their other material. My favorite thing to do is locate new comedians because there are always fresh, funny comedians that i have never heard about before.

Anyways, this thread is for us to post our favorite comedians for others to discover, so that the laughs are passed around. Who knows, one of the suggestions might cause you to buy their cd's / go see them in person.

My favorites would have to be (spellings not exact): Dimitri Martin, Jeff Foxworthy, Pablo Francisco, Bo burnham, Stephen Lynch, Mitch Hedberg (RIP), and Dane cook.

What are your favorites?

Jeff Dunham is hillarious, but I'm not sure if he works without the visuals (He's a ventriloquist)

I also like Lewis Black and Eddie Izzard.

OMG reading this, so many funy people come into my mind, BUT I would have to say right now, Will Ferril & Adam Sandler please. I know they aren't "comedians" in the stand up way but they are still funny!

Ron White is great in my opinion. I like Larry The Cable Guy's standup, but his acting is horrible.

I forgot to add Dennis Leary to my list of great comedians. Only problem is he's a bit graphic, but he provides lots of laughs.

I just found out about Jeff Dunham. Some guys at work told me to check hiim out on youtube. I watched his Christmas Special and it was really good. His piece on his daughter filling up on gas the first time brought back some memories of when I had to do it myself. Mind you I wasn't as bad as her. I think Achmed is the best followed by peanut and walter. I wasn't too impressed with the last one Bubba.
