I hate the preflop limp. You've got a big hand, bump it up!

you asked why, so i will say why i think. You had AQc man! Why in the heck would you limp in? I can understand you dont wanna scare off a potential pot, but yet at the same time you gotta be aggressive and protect those hands and bet. Sure youll lose here and there being aggressive, but youll start to eliminate beats like these as you get better at it.

I find myself in a position where i too was scared to be agrressive and bet my good hands, and also ended up getting beat, because i let em draw on me with hands like this preflop. I had let weak play and bad beats make me jaded. Once my buddy pointed that out and mentioned that if i hadnt of played like such a puss with my good hands, my overall history would be much better if i had of played my good hands correctly. Of course i was pissed at first, but i agreed, he had a good point. So what if they fold to my agressive play, at least i take the pot down and move on. Play agressively preflop to protect your hand, dont beat yourself being weak, and youll get better results!

Ok I understand I can raise here but I did not want too... I was forced all in when I was around 91% to win the hand!! I think I played it perfectly.....

No need to raise here when blinds are small unless I am willing to risk my stack here..... what happens if i raise to a 3 bet (450)...then comes a raise to 1000 and then a all in for 2200, i am folding AQ here!! So i think to safe chips waiting on my big hands which would come within the next two blinds b/c you get dealt JJ-AA 1 every 52 hands!!!!

oh ya you had a great trap set up but no clue as to what the guy had as he got in free and drew a sucker punch to the trap. I would of just attempted to push him out pre and take the pot, but thats just me. I mean i have seen ya kick arsh before so its probably just one of those nites.

Yes you fold your AQs to a reraise and shove. And that's ok! Instead, you let a guy who would never had called a raise in cheap, he flopped top pair and he decided he's pushing it to the max. Blinds are NOT small at all here, 75/150 is quite large when you have about 2500 chips. Pick up those blinds while you can man!

The small blind was the guy with the 10-8. He shoved before Nutz got to act.

There is absolutely a need to raise here. You are in mid-late position. Your range is even going to beat a blind shove, in my eyes. Sure, if there is a 4-bet, you're beat, but your hand slaughters most of the table's range. Thus, you raise.

Also, flatting that flop? His hand is about the best of his range. Thus, you're drawing to 15, and a FAVORITE. Thus, you raise. You WANT him to push.

You played this hand far too passively the whole way. If you want to start going deeper, you are going to have to reach down and find the next gear for your play.
