Password Stealing Site!

I just wanted to alert everyone to a website that is apparently stealing the passwords to our (and many other forums') freerolls. I got this information from a member of this site, JAYCISM. They claim to already have the password for the tournament tomorrow, which is impossible since Tracy hasn't created it yet. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know. The website is ABCPoquer.com | Freerolls Passwords .

I have not told anyone the password for tomorrow yet so they are full of it lol.I am only person registered for tournament .

Clarification from JAYCISM: they have a spot listed for our freeroll and that it will be at FullTilt, and they will put the password in as soon as it is released. I guess he worded it incorrectly or something. But the point is they are watching and waiting for any mention of the password.

yeah these morons will put out a list for all freerolls on every site they can. if they don't have the password yet it will say buscando. once they get the password they will post it out there for all to see. you do not even need to be a member. i have been banned there because i gave them some crap about it. i am a mod for a different site and i dont think it is right of them to do this. i am going to through your member list and i will let you know who is doing it

Well I am sending it out to our members 15 minutes prior and there is no late registration .Wheni come back from vacation NDN is going to sort out his BAP password system and I will rename it to VIP Registration.I am only going to accept registrations one day a week to avoid the rush of members for free rolls and there will be minimum post requirements for me to accept a member.There are only 500 members in his old system compared to 5600 members on the site.Just for clarification there will be no POINTS system on the site i am using the password part of his old system that is it.

yeah its not cool ,but the sad part is you sign up to these forums and when you find out what they are about in most cases its too late.Ive tried to have my account closed because i wont no part of it and they wont respond. If your new to the forum thing be careful where you sign up at.I learn to look to see if i know any of the players signed up before i register.There are a few here who ive had the pleasure to sit at a many table with as well.gd post folks.

Easier way to get passwords is join the site hosting them.Sometimes I wonder if it is a band of players who are playing the free money games.I mean think if you have 50 player ring in a 200 player game playing 10 games a day every day you already have 25% chance of winning the prizes plus some cheating /talking going on it is easy to manipulate results.

there are a multitude of pass thief sites out there .i regularly check about 6 of them .some forums dont mind because it swells thier numbers.most thief sites have a disclaimer somewhere that if you dont want your passwords posted there you have to notify them .just some quasi-legal bull if they have the game posted i would notify and warn them about it .threaten to have them closed for violation of digital millenium copyright.or legal action

Password thieves can be easily avoided on FTP with a RESTRICTED LIST AND PASSWORD PROTECTION. The restricted web registration on FTP can be password protected also. All you need is a current list of valid members and there FTP names.

By the time they do all the work to steal the pw's they could have joined the forum and made the post requirements lol. People who steal pw's should be banned from the poker sites, but are usually are not due to the sites do not want to lose money.

exactly. but they don't care. they do what they want and have no compassion for people that try to give members an oppertunity to win some dough. if they knock you out from playing reckless than that sucks because they shouldn't have been there in the first place.

is ABC Poquer cuz he ruined our FRC tourny about a week ago lol.

Every password stealing site should be taken down including ABC and UAPoker, etc. I would threaten legal action to the host not the site itself. The host could possibly take the site down until they comply. Problem with it is that these sites are masquerading as legit forums.

Jaycism, I think its great what you are doing. Being a Mod on another forum...we are constantly battling this very problem!! I look around here and see that you have members here that we have banned for sharing our private pws but I feel it is none of my business to interfere.
Having tried to share info with other forums about known pw thieves and multi-accounters before, it can be frustrating when you aren't believed. I think it would be a great idea for us to ban together and create a centralized information site for all forum Mods and Admin! These pw thieves and cheating multi-accounters help each other out believe me, we should too! Just my opinion.
I would appreciate any info you are willing to share with me on these cheaters.

Yes, but how do you get a site taken down that exists in a place where the govenrment is so weak that they can't go after criminals, let alone some password theives. What are you going to do, write a sternly wordly worded letter?
