I recently played in a tournament and won. The prize was cash and a free hat. I got the cash, which I was happy about, but they never sent the hat. I know some people would say so what. That's not a big deal. But i think that is horrible. If a site promises to do something and then doesn't doe it, then would their member want to stay with them. I just do not recommend using this site.

your not the only to be promised a hat for winning a tourny there. i not worried about it. i would just burn it anyways cuz i hate the poker brat

I would just advice not to trust a company where cheating is well known to be happening. Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker have been involved in a HUGE scam with multiple Super User accounts which have stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars.

My advice, play anywhere else, even full tilt, but stay away from AP and UB

the way i see if someone tells me they are going to give me something i feel i shouldnt have to go ask for it.

When we had the NDNPT (NoDepositNeeded Poker Tour) at UB I believe the winners received their hats without any hassle at all.

It's a bummer that's not the case anymore!

in the end a hat is a hat. as long as you got your money. you should be able to get one on ebay for a few dollars

I play at UB only for freerolls and Black Jack. It used to be my favorite place to play Black Jack because they had the multi player tables. There customer service is very poor and very slow to reply. Once I made a cash swap with a friend. My money at AP for his at UB this was before you could transfer beteen the two sites and I waited a week and no cash so I emailed them. I had to email them 3 times and finally 5 days later I got a reply saying no one ever sent me any money. My friend insisted he did and said he withdrew and closed his account after they didnt return his emails to them about it.

I would just never play on a site that has been on the scammers and cheaters scene for the last 2 years.

Imagine playing with a guy who can see EVERYONE elses cards!

Well, that has happened there hundreds of times with the so called "superuser" accounts which they always negated, but now they have been investigated and it is all true

Just like UB and AP, lol, totally ridiculous, but still, a lot of people play there and get beat and maybe cheated and they don't even know, so bad for the online gaming, this could turn USA around to just say NO NO NO forever on poker, if they continue to cheat ppl at UB, I am sure it will happen...
