Interesting.... hummm, no I don't suppose any thing interesting has happened in my life lately. I am incredibly stressed right now! I wonder if I will make it through this school thing! OMG! And the at home thing is wearing me down! But I have surly been blessed! So that is a plus! : )

I really need to seriously focus on studying right now. But it never ceases to amaze me that I have to focus on things that I shouldn't have to. blah, blah, blah.... anyways! I didn't sleep well last night, even though I am so tired. I am sure I will tonight though. As I have to get up in the morning and I won't want to. Go figure??? The life we live always has a story. Sometimes it's a good one and other times it's not.

Today I am down in the dumps! I am truly feeling blue! I can't wait for it to pass. Like all things this too shall pass and then something else will be along. I hope the next something else to come will be on a brighter side of things.

ok I'm fixing to sit down and do taxes ...i had a casino win of over 1200 dollars and need to claim in taxes for first time....i got my player account summized by the casino that keeps track of my play and they say of "the play where i used my card"... I lost 2,356 dollar last year.... so i technically should be able to exclude this from tax ..but i dont itemize(home is paid off, no big medicals...ya know what i mean) so im screwed into paying out like 300 dollars for this win (not happy) ....sigh.....
spent a night with an old friend at the hard rock they other night ..ate at floyd's ....i got a coupon to eat there (2 aps 2 entrees 2 drinks and 2 deserts for 2 )so only expense was tip ...had to sign bill at the end I was shocked over 100 dollars! everything was deliscious .spent 2 hours constantly talking(paid for this for next 2 days had sore throat) and the food was so good ..waitress had to be begged for service but we were in no hurry so it was ok .....i had 75 bucks in free play and took 120 dollars with me spent most of that before dinner so i had a credit slip of 47 dollars left ....went to play and bounced around a few games with her laughing and cutting up for another three hours....I walked out of there after paying my valet bill with 350 dollars...she walked with 800 i dont know how much she invested though ....so I had a great night ..its so nice when both ppl win in the party.....bummer was.... at the end i had a 2 hour drive ahead of me cuz i had a tv guy showing up at 830 am that morning so drinking was out but dont need it to laugh so i was good to go ...stuck 300 dollars away to gamble with next adventure...happy
Hope all r doing well....i miss playing with u guys....hope we get a game up soon...or at least a good challenge event.....be well all be happy!

Hi WoohooSue, ya know I had this same tax problem last year. My husband won $2800.00. Here in California if you have a casino winning the only form you can use is a 1040. I found that in filing the 1040 is not much difference then the 1040A if you do not itemize. Still you can claim the amount of winnings as losses. The only thing was, if there was an audit, to be prepared. You have the card proving your losses. It doesn't hurt to try filling the 1040 out just to see. The only thing it can cost you is about 45 min. But it could poss save you $300 bucks. : )

Just a thought! : ) Now I am gonna go read the rest of your post. lol
