Ok, now lets look at this one and range him and see what his odds were based on possible hands.

I have no clue what happened, but he may have been calling on a draw is my best guess, but what he would just flat call the river if he hits doesnt make alot of sense, so i am gonna assume if he didnt hit a str8 or a flush, he hit trips, and was scared you may have hit higher

well the only think i can think of was he had a set on the flop. like dueces or threes. as for if he was ok by calling preflop i think so. i would make a call like that with a pocket pair just to see the flop. odds for are pretty good that i hit a set. thats just just me though. other than i cant see him playing some bs cards and hit the str8. well ill retract that. i have seen bs cards played and lose to river str8. lol

he either had K's up(K2 or K3) or a weak King like K4-K8.

He had pocket Aces and was letting you bet because he thought you had trips or was a moron.

To the folks thinking set, don't you expect a reraise somewhere along the way. I would expect him to bump the turn or river to take control or check how good his hand is, but he never does. He make three passive plays which isn't an indication of a set.

the game of online poker is forever changing and you just never know now days what people will play and how they will play it. few year back it was more predictable on what people had by the way they play.

Here is the Showdown of the above hand. I would love for someone to attempt to please explain how bad a call he made on the flop to allow him to continue in the hand.

    *** SHOW DOWN ***
ffcowboy76 shows [Ks As] two pair, Aces and Kings
    mule99 shows [6h 5h] a flush, Ace high
mule99 wins the pot ($30.17) with a flush, Ace high

He is getting 2-1 on the flop.... with precisely 4 outs giving him nearly 6-1 odds.

Therefore, this call is shocking, even with implied odds.

The only thing i can think of, is if he is caling to bet or raise on the turn and take it down on a later street.

I took to long editing, so I will make a second post.

This hand happened late in the session, so the stats below are close to what I saw at the time of the hand.

    Hands - 103
    VP$IP - 34.95
    PFR - 0.97
    3Bet - 0.00
    AF - 0.55
    Fold to flop bet 63%
    Fold to turn bet 37%
    PT3 rating - fish, loose passive/passive

eejit, you idea might be correct, but he wasn't that type of player. He didn't EVER make a move to win the pot, even when he hit the flush. He was at best a calling station and a player I would raise with 7/2 off to isolate and cbet for a win.
