Alot folks thoght they "Poker Rooms" would let you play against there computers, you know the results.I don't believe any ever were busted though.

PokerStars holds the BEST security on the net. Their software even checks upon everyone randomly to ensure there are no bot accounts.

If you play at pokerstars you can really be sure you are not getting cheated. If you think you are though, just drop support an email, they shall investigate and if in fact you were cheated, they will try to reimburse you as much as possible from the scammers account.

I got reimbursed by Stars when a scammer somehow managed to get my password. I think it was a virus and/or keylogger that allowed them to get in.

It was about $160 and Stars returned all of it to me.

There is NO NEED on even thinking that PokerStars is not the SAFEST and MOST SECURE poker site in the world. Simply there is no way to cheat stars, everytime you withdraw your deposits are cashed out instant, but any wins will go under a strict cashout procedure where they WILL check all your play and HOW you won your cash, anything shady and you will get frozen account and then investigated to a point where, if you in fact cheated they wll just try to give as much back as possible to the ones you cheated from

Well you can collude, have several peeps or with alot of computers.I was mad when I made this post, I do not believe its random tho, of course I don't think no one's landed on the moon either.But the poll is 50/50 so I may not be ALONE!!!

when I say I don't think its random what I mean is I believe its in the software.Ok say you gett QQ on the button, you just check it instead of raising, or you raise 3x the bb.I believe you will lose if ya check and win if you raise.I just think if ya play the cards wrong the software will clobber you.I do not believe POKERSTARS cares who wins or loses.there making theres anyways, so if ya slow play your AA dont get mad when the bb kills you with 27, he shoudn't have been allowed to stay.Are there Bots? I am almost positive at some sites there are, of course some of the worlds biggest crooks are in the highest offices.

The fact that if you check you lose more times than if you raise is because when you check you give away that free card that often screws you, but if you bet ppl will often fold. I used to think that stars and other sites would favor the raiser but after having raised a zillion times and still wind up losing, i decided its just my crap luck, LOL

I love Stars. Best tournaments, most players, best ranges. But, the question on the table: are there bots? And, I would say yes. But, it seems most of you have a convoluted opinion of what bots are. Bots are programs made by players to take certain actions under certain conditions. They in no way influence how the cards are dealt. Personally, if I knew I was sitting down at a table of 9 bots, I would be ecstatic. Talk about easy reads. But, I would say there are bots there, but I do not call it a bad thing.

You're only gonna find bots in limit games, because situations so often repeat themselves there, unlike NL, as NL has way too many options. I have never heard of a programmer good enough to program for NL.

Thanks alot for the posts Borg, you don't post alot but when you do there golden.So maybe lil was right and wrong,lol.I really don't believe Stars would allow anyone to have an advantage, that would ruin them.I guess alot times hard to admit you play bad, I have no probs when winning.I think it was ND who said something like " I always remember the bad ones, but forget the good ones" was something like that. I have had some good moments , but my bad play has gave me some bad ones.

Bots are awesome. They just get programed with odds. Id rather play a bot than a person any time, and they tried it live a year or 2 back. The bot lost, but played ok.

Stars makes $$$ millions ever DAY probably, no need to risk their livelihood.

I am sorry Borgo but stars has this "captcha" (or however its said) that actually, sends you to type in a code at any moment that stars system believes that you may be in fact a bot and not a real player and they also randomly test thousands of accounts daily

Stars makes more than $4 million USD per day buddy, they DONT need any kind crap or nonesense going on at all, leave that to Absolute Poker, they do cheat....
