If you find a guest in the new member area ..Be aware this means they are no longer a member and have been banned for some reason...I was recently catching up and came across some of these and was told they were banned ....so if you see one and think about posting a welcome don't ....it will be looked upon as spam.

Thanks for the info. I never post and welcome new members. I feel that its not my place to welcome them or I feel out of place to do so. It should be the mods that do that. IMO if anyone else post in this area its because they are trying to get points.

In fact I have not even posted in the new member area when I joined. I think I will do it here, since I am not a new member.

I am area206 from Seattle WA. I joined about three years ago but become active in the forum about two weeks. Hope to get to know more people at NDN as well as play poker. Gl to all when I see you at the tables.

Area206, when I post a welcome note in the new members section, I can assure you that I am not out to get free chips. (I don't even use my chips) At least not very often. But I do however post a welcome note to every new member. I try not to miss any, sometimes I might, but not often. In my opinion It is a warm and a kind thing to do . I also know that I would appreciate a welcome post if I were new, which I am so not.

By the way welcome to NDN the best forum on the internet. Have a great day! And I hope you find as much joy here as I do.
