I feel I got burned on Royal flush bonus carbon

Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. During a cash game on carbon last night I hit a royal flush on a .50/$1 table. I was dealt KQ spades. I called a $5 raise. Flop was Js 10s 5h check check. Turn 2d other player bet $9.50 I called with numerous outs. River As ROYAL! He bet $12 so I raised to $24 and he folded and I showed my winning Royal Flush. So I also assumed I would recieve Carbons royal flush bonus of 100xBB which would have been $100. But this morning I recieved an email from them saying I dont qualify since all other players in hand folded. WTF?!?! Heres there qualifications................

Royal Flush Bonus Qualification:
Only available for real money Texas Hold'em ring games (not tournament hands)
Both Hole Cards must be used
Player must win hand / pot with the Royal Flush (no rabbit hunts)
Must be submitted within 48 hours from hand completion
If the Royal Flush comes down on a Deal It Twice table only the FIRST dealt turn and river qualify for the bonus.

Now maybe its just me but I assumed that since I had both whole cards and the whole board was out that I qualified as I did shoiw my hand after he folded to my reraise. It says "player must win hand/pot with the royal flush (no rabbit hunts)" Now I did win hand and i did win pot and I did not rabbit hunt the entire board was in play. But they say that since others folded even though I showed after he folded I do not qualify. SO PISSED!!!! IT DOESNT SAY PLAYER MUST SHOWDOWN WITH OTHER PLAYER!!! If I knew this would happen I would have just called his $12 bet after river and gotten the bonus,but i didnt know that had to happen. I was hoping the with the big bet of his he had hit a huge hand as well and would reraise me and i would have been golden!! So basically they are telling me not to reraise there and try to maximize my winning hand?!?!?! ARE YOU ****** KIDDING ME!!!!! i AM SO ******* MAD RIGHT NOW. I told them that my entire $700 would be coming off of their site. I am also a level earth player so Ive been there a while and have spent my fair share of money there. This just really really ERKS ME! If u ask me they should reword there qualifications. Sorry for the language NDN im just really tilted right now. I would appreciate your info NDN on this matter if you dont mind. I wrote them 2 very angry emails this morning and have not recieved a response yet. If I am wrong here please tell me that,but i think i deserve that $100 bonus. **** carbon!

The important part to take note of as it is relevant to why your hand did not qualify, is the requirement: "Two or more players must be active at the end of the hand, and it must go to showdown".

In the hand that you provided, your opponent folded on the river so the hand did not go to showdown and this is the reason that you did not qualify for this bonus.

Exactly, nowhere in the terms of the Royal Flush Promotion did they say that. Had they, we would never have had this discussion, and they would be competely in the right in your case. But they did NOT say that in the terms.

This type of customer service is not new to merge gaming. Please, please heed this as a warning.

Wow. You didn't get burned, cheated, or otherwise screwed. It says you must have the winning hand, which means a showdown to most of the poker world, especially when looking for bonuses. Had you thought about it and just smooth called you pick up an extra $100, but you got GREEDY. I'm sorry you didn't get your bonus, but I don't see them paying you anything. They really don't care if 1 player quits over a deal because it doesn't cost them much, unless you put in HUGE volume.

Just my thoughts, good luck trying to get anything from them.

Well after a week and 20+ emails.....FINALLY SUCCESS!!! I have just recieved my $100 royal flush bonus and they gave me a $109 entry coupon to the 50k guarantee for my troubles!! I will next post my final email to them tonight followed by there final response.....tell me if you think they are honestly admitting they are wrong or if you think they were trying to shut me up.....you be the judge.....Thanks guys for givng me the encouragement to keep at this with them.......

Yup took awhile but end result is most def. to my liking. Closing on our house 2day so will be busy for a few weeks so wont be playing the $109 tourney for some weeks probably. But when I do,if I can cash,as I believe usually 50th even pays roughly $375, I would like to maybe fund a small $50 freeroll for NDN'ers,I know its still a fight to cash in this high stake tourney but hey ya never know. So lets say 25 just to round up. 25 emails at probably 10 minutes for each, 9 minutes to think up how you are going to whine, and 1 to write it...to round off, you were given a GIFT of 309 dollars(200 plus the 109$ coupon). If i count correctly, 250 minutes...divide 250 by 60 to figure out how many hours you worked, which is 4 hours and 6 minutes, well say 4 hours to round off. 309$ for 4 hours of work comes to 77.25 an hour...not bad, i know prostitutes that make the same... First off, i'm happy that you got a royal flush. secondly, you DID NOT win the hand, by any means, you won the pot, and showed your cards. Lastly, YOU DID NOT GO TO SHOWDOWN. I read their terms and conditions and I was under the same impression that he was and that impression was that he did QUALIFY for the bonus.

I have years and years of poker experience (offline & on) and I did not get the impression that in order to qualify for this bonus it had to go to showdown.

Wow. I am one to respect everyones opinion and if thats how ya feel then so be it...no apology needed. I was not whining like a lil' ***** first of all. All i wanted in the end from this,was them to admit that they needed to revise their requirements if i was not to get bonus. Every other site i see clearly says "players must showdown,hand must be complete" EVEN carbons bad beat jackpot requirements STATE THAT....HOWEVER their royal flush requirements DO NOT STATE THAT!
