That is your first problem right there. You can't expect people to always make the correct play at that level. Now on with the look in.
Preflop I don't like your raise at all. You went 9x the bb with is a bit big for AQ off. I would think raising to around 3 to 5x the bb would be better. I will explain why later. Now, your opponent calls. What do you think he puts you on? Did you consider that. He probably has you on something other than AA or KK, more like 6's or 5's. He calls looking for the over cards or the flush. The total in the pot is 1000 chips. You bet out on the flop, which is a good play, but your bet wasn't big enough. You gave him 3.5 to 1 to call on the flop. On the turn, when he picks up a huge number of outs you bet 350 into a pot of 1800. He was calling 350 chips into a pot of 2150. He was getting 6 plus to 1 to call on the turn. With flush draw and straight draw outs, plus the possibility of hitting his over card and thinking he was good you should get 15 outs. That is 30% to hit and he is committing like 12% to the pot. I call that every time.
Now, let's say you went to 4x instead of 9x the bb. The pot on the flop will be 500 chips and your bet of 400 looks alot more serious. I personally think your whole problem began preflop when you raised too much. You bet on the flop made your hand look like something it wasn't and cost you the hand.
Just my thoughts.
