Ringo - surely terp can decide for himself if Obama has done anything since he has been in office. To be fair ive done some googling now, and it doesnt exactly seem like he has done a whole lot. Maybe because he isnt allowed, but who knows. And maybe they gave him the prize for publicity, first black prez and all that. Maybe for his "struggle to break stereotypes", but then again surely the peace prize should go to someone who has stopped wars, isnt that peace? Therefore, give it soe peace protestors in Israel or something.

That's my point. He got this award because he's not George Bush. While yes that is most certainly a wonderful thing for this country, it is not Nobel worthy.

Wow this thread exploded. Ummm I don't really know what to say except I guess this goes to show why we still need John's message in this world! I think both Terp and Ringo have well-taken points here, just...let's stop all the fight! War is over, if you want it.
