Does this mean I am unofficially not banned from the chip system
anymore??
Hurray for the older fun stuff.
What a fantastic idea!!!
I think its good,, because all the new members coming in lately will have read nothing but garbage and figure wow im out of here its full of troublemakers and people upset. now hopefully it will all change and we can all look forward to coming here for fun and to play poker which is what I think most of us really love to do!! d**m feels like a group hug kinda moment lol
Im loving the replies.
Someone mention me before i cry
These new implementations sounds really nice and fun to me.
I think everyone will really enjoy all the changes.
Better believe they will be. Only time i seen u play N is either the BAP or the LL bets, and i get the impression that you ENJOY playing the LL tourneys :-p. As an ordinary man, i fear change. Change of all kinds. I actually pee and poop my pants when i see snow for the first time....
but seriously, I felt a lil hesitation when the chip system was revamped; only to be pleasantly surprised. whatever changes u make N, I know itll be all good. You're not going to get rid of me that easily :-p. PLZ give a holla as to when, and for what; we will exchange the last of our chippies. I went from 27 to 1600 today.... and theyre burning a hole in my virtual pocket :-p.

I don't know how to explain myself without sounding like a jerk! No chip system is a little odd because how are you going to compare a veteran from a person named Joe Smo that just signed up yesterday. I know the rep system but that is controlled by one person which is you NDN. I don't know i am confused about this whole change thing. I was confused about the last change and it worked out great. Anyways my only concern is that i want us veterans (and you know who you are) not to get abuse by newcomers that don't put there time in! I am sorry if i seem like a jerk, I have been sipping on the box wine tonight but I am concerned!!!
p.s EEJIT we still love you!!!
Well every time NDN has said he wants to change something it has wound up being a great change. I have full confidence that things will still be good around here. I'll be sad to see the chip system go but can't wait to see what's next. I am looking forward to the NDNPT again, it is by far the best league I've played in. This might be the last NDNPT I try to play all the games in...baby number two is on its way in April and with two kids under two years old I'm pretty sure my poker time will not be what it is now or what it was during the last NDNPT. I'd better get some rolls going because I'm sure my wife won't be too psyched about me depositing for a while.
Anyway, thanks for everything that has happened since the forum got up and running again NDN, I know a lot of us missed it while it was on hiatus. You definitely are overseeing a great sight and many of us have become better poker players as a result. And yes eejit, thank you too for everything you did to keep all the good stuff going, it is greatly appreciated.(I've never used the pig before and really wanted to.)
Awww thanks snutz and arsenal
And itll be fine.
NDN had the first ever Poker MArathon online.
I invented it.
Why didnt i patent it?
And te pig rocks
800!
200 to go till your a real boy
What the hell is a poker marathon
I definitely am on the same page with you. The chips system was created to reward loyal members over time. It was also created to encourage activity among new and old members. In many ways it was a great success. However, it's clear that it has it's kinks and I no longer wish to spend time tweaking the system month after month only to run into a new problem each time. There are many new projects planned that everyone can enjoy so I'd rather focus my time on those projects.
When the new season of the NDNPT begins, I plan to accept new members every 24-hours. This way you will have to be a member 24-hours prior to the start of the game to be eligible to access the passwords section. This should help minimize the number of players who join 5-minutes before the game and spread the password around.
And if it's feasible to keep the chips system functioning in the manor that I described in the first post of this thread, then that will be an additional way that I can reward the "veteran" more than the "Joe Smo."
