    Default Ever fold AA preflop??

Is there ever a reason to fold pocket Aces preflop?? For example the other day in a 1vip freeroll at carbon I held pocket ACES and had 2 all-ins in front of me and i believe my stack was somewhere in the middle range of the remaining 30 players with the top 12 spots paying off with entries. I felt I had no choice but to call and ended up losing entire stack to the chip leader who held 7 8 suited and hit his gut shot straight on the river. I understand Aces will not always hold up but at that stage in the tourney should I have layed down my hand knowing that with 2 other hands in the mix there was a good chance of being out dealt?? Just really hard for me to ever consider folding Aces preflop. Any insight would be appreciated.

the only time it is proper to fold a HUGE hand in a preflop situation is when you are playing a sattellite where the top 20 or so get a ticket to the next round and it's bubble time, i usually fold all day long, ESPECIALLY when i have a ncie stack. Let other people get there money in there and gamble.

I dont think I have the willpower to fold AA preflop its never happened,, but yes I might if I was bubbleboy and it was in my best interest not to double anyone up. I still dont think I would EVER!!

Thanx guys! Whenever it is close to bubbletime and Im tops in chips I always tell myself to just sit back and let everyone else fight it out for a bit to at least ensure a good placing but then I always seem to get playable hands and cant get away from throwing chips out and getting caught and then its back to square one fighting again lol
