Default What is the best strategy for Double or Nothing

I have being playing some Double or Nothing games and I have being doing pretty well.
I normaly just play tight, not really agressive, and I get into the money around 60% of the time.
What should be the best strategy to beat these games?
I readed some comments on this link here.
LINK REMOVED - EEJIT101(can I post links here?)

But I guess not all the possible strategy is explained.
    Anymore thoughts about it?

you're not really making any money if you're only winning at a 60% clip

Posting links is ok, however not to another forum or any site with affiliate links to casinos or poker rooms.

And as for DoNs, i just go tight as I can, and get agressive on the big hands.

If I win 51% of my games I would be making money in the long run. U dont agree with me?

You're paying, generally, a 10-15% rake per game.

For arguments sake, lets say 10%.

If you win 60 of 100 $5+.50 games, you will have won (60*4.50)=270 while losing (40*5.50)=220

$50 profit rather than the $100 profit you assume.

that's if you can keep up a 60% clip through 100 games at a 10% rake.

It depends on the site. Cake charges 7% on their DoN's. And yes, 60% cashing is profitable, and while there are definitely ways to improve that-in the 10 dollar games a good player might be able to hit 70-75% I think, any profit over a long term is strong.

I think I'm just over 50% and not beating the rake so far, but that's because I'm still figuring out bubble play in these.

it's profitable, but it's not worthwhile.

The only way I seem to do real well in double up is only play real strong hands and be super aggressive at the start get a big chipstack and just sit and wait for it to be over.

depends on how you define worthwhile. If you can multi-table them and win a steady 10 bucks an hour that might not be too bad. Steady 10 bucks an hour from poker beats flipping burgers any day.

If you figure 4 games every half hour while multi tabling, that would be 8 an hour with an ExW:L of 4.8:3.2

If you're playing 10+1 games, you're making $8 an hour (43.2-35.2) if you can keep to that 60% ratio and manage 8 games in an hour.

It's rough going, and not really worth the time imo.

I usually play 2 real tournaments and 2 DoNs while I play because I know I don't have to spend as much time with the DoNs.

Volume is the key here. 6 or 8 at once makes it a lot better.

Eh, without dual monitors, anything more than 4 is going to get too cluttered imo.

I always max out at 4 when I have no second monitor on hand, I can't deal with not being able to see each table at once.
