So i am playing a 100 double up or nothing!!! 6 people are left and collusion happen with two guys from Brazil, very obvious. player A is in the BB for 300 chips and only 600 behind him and his partner player B limps. everyone folds and player A does one bet on the flop for min and a chip leader snaps folds. player b only had to call 400 more to put him all in.... bull

well i had queens very next hand snapped all in bc i had 8 BB and and guy calls with a9 and hit a ace on the flop!!!

i reported these two guys, but should i ***** to get money back from this or what!!!! thanks

Thats a tough break nutz, especially if it was a 100 dollar double up (im not sure if u meant 1.00 or 100). Anyways, my point being; Ive played for a good amount of years online, and never thought too much about collusion. But i had a buddy of mine tell me straight up, that sometimes he colludes in super turbo tournaments with one of our other buddies, via telephone or aim or whatever. In talking to him, I kinda realized that its more likely that it happens a lot, than it is likely to not occur. especially in some of these foreign, more impoverished countries. I mean, theres no regulation, and they have no money anyways, so why not?? Its definately something Ive been more aware of now, and if i was in your shoes nutz, i woulda done the same thing and emailed support. Theres nothing you really can do except for play in larger MTT's. Tough to collude if you are only 2-4 players in a field of a few thousand. Its sucks that people have to cheat, but what im realizing now, is that if you mind getting ur acct banned (i.e never deposited) than its a tactically intelligent thing to do. Why not give yourself a better advantage if you dont care? Stay away from cash games, and what i do, is keep TONS of notes on players, and i just put how sure i am that they are a cheat, and with whom. Im sure im wrong plenty of times, but it keeps me constantly aware of it.

This is one of the reasons I stick to large field tourneys. If I play smaller tourneys it tends to only be private games with people I am fairly certain won't cheat.

Wow thats unreal, tough one to take. I've always heard of things like this happening. Is it even possible to prove this by looking at the whole tourney hand history or is it more of a "she said" "he said" situation?.If they were cheating they should be banned from every site out there! Good luck on resovling this.

Exactly Red. Theres so many people playing online poker, and those same people are also on instant messanging software. Twitter, AIM, MSN, skype, you name it. I wouldnt even doubt that you could send real time video footage of your game, to your buddy who's in the same one. Its definately a stretch, but the fact is, its possible, and people would think of it... i just did. As i said man, stay away from cash games, and small size tourneys. Honestly, Ive completely stopped playing cash games all together (save for some low stakes which arent worth cheating in). You have to adjust your game when ur playing online; everytime u log in, u gotta realize what it is ur doing. Ya gotta realize that there are people out there trying to cheat u. As i said, keep HELLA notes on people, and over time ull see whos playing with the same ppl, and how they play. If youre dilligent, and aware, you make yourself less of a target. Hard enough to win playing poker, nobody needs these scumbags trying to cheat u outta money. They exist,so be aware of it everytime u sit at the table.
