Question Question About Posting Hand Histories

Hey NDN, I know you took away chip eligibility in the BAP rail threads section because of the copy and paste nature of hand histories, but I was curious if all hand histories posted on the site would not count for chips? For example if someone posted one or two hands from a non BAP game that they wanted to discuss somewhere else on the site (like here), would those be eligible for chips? Just curious about this.

Also unrelated, but could we get a section for surveys like the Jokes section? That way new users can have somewhere to go to get to know others and share something about themselves, and we can keep the surveys going we love to do without compromising the chip system? If not that's okay, again just a thought!

I actually turned the "Jokes" section into a "Jokes & Surveys" section yesterday (after I saw a few surveys popping back up). So you are free to create or respond to any surveys in that section.

I have contemplated removing chips from the "hand history" section but haven't made an official decision on that. If I see anyone abusing that area, I generally send them a private message to make sure their hand history is more than a copy and paste and includes their thoughts on why they played the hand the way that they did so more of us can learn from each and every hand.

I'm contemplating some more changes for October so stay tuned (things sure change a lot around here)!

Will we see a return of something like Amazon.com money in the loyalty store or will all non poker related prizes remain in drawings? I know not all of us play poker here, despite this being a poker forum.

I vote for the abolition of chips, and me to get a salaried wage for having to post
