A lawyer was driving and come to a stop sign slowed down looked both ways and drove on and a state trooper seeing him not come to a complete stop pulls him over. He says you know you didnt stop at the stop sign sir license please. The lawyer attempting to talk his way out says but sir I slowed down looked both ways and then proceeded on. The policeman said yes but you didn't stop so show me your license and registration sir. The lawyer again says but sir I slowed way down looked both ways then proceeded on. The policeman said again but you didnt stop so give me your license so I can write the ticket. Once more the lawyer says but officer I slowed way down looked both ways and then went on. The policeman finally tell the lawyer to step out of the car and let me demonstrate the difference between slowing down and stopping. The lawyer gets out and the policeman starts hitting him with his billy club and asks the lawyer do you want me to slow way down or do you want me to stop.
