He must of figured you for AK and figured on 2 live cards. Besides, they were suited.

    LOL!
In a satellite no less and he has already more than doubled his stack (probably by making stupid plays like this and getting lucky). He could probably fold almost every hand and still win a seat and he's willing to chuck half his stack on this hand!
I had no idea these satellites were so soft.

I really have no idea wtf he is doing, you'd have to ask him.

It does appear that he has no concept of correct satellite strategy, starting hand values and pot odds.

Maybe he thinks any suited connector is a must call?!

He should call for one reason...

    He misclicked.

He is getting no equity, no odds, no expected value, he is AT BEST a 45% dog.

He is AT WORST a 94% dog.

    Theres why you fold.

It's OK to gamble but you have to pick sensible spots so that the risk is worth the reward. In this case, because it is a satellite, villain is risking quite a bit for almost no gain.
If villain plays sensibly, he can probably win a seat about 95%.
So, if he wins, let's say he'll win 99% of the time. But, what happens if he loses? His equity will go way down, below 50%.
I'd have to know the payout structure and then run a simulation to know for sure. However, assuming this is a SNG satellite, that pays the top 3, I think my guesses are about right.
However, villain is not alone. There are many people that play satellites but make the most basic mistakes because they do not properly adjust their strategy in satellites.
