UFC 103 Tonight

well should be an alright PPV. i am looking forward to the belfort fight as i want to see what he has in him now that he is older now. some of the other fights should be good also. its like some of the older UFC fighters who left are trying to make a come back to the UFC with this PPV. below are the list of the PPV fights and my picks to win witht he vegas odds next to the name.

Rich Franklin (-140) vs. Vitor Belfort (+120)

i going to take belfort in this one even though he looked really bad in the weigh ins.

Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic (+110) vs. Junior Dos Santos (-130)

i will have to go with Cro Cop here. i liked him before and i still like him now. should be a very good fight.

Martin Kampmann (-350) vs. Paul Daley (+300)

well martin was supposed to fight swick for the #1 contender spot against GSP but swick is hurt and daley is in. with that being said martin wins this fight easily in my eyes.

Josh Koscheck (-420) vs. Frank Trigg (+320)

very interesting match up as trigg as great stand up and will kill koscheck if they stand up so i look for josh to take this fight to the ground but i see frank trigg winning this fight as he has to much power imo.

Tyson Griffin (-330) vs. Hermes Franca (+285)

match got changed to a catchweigh 159lbs since franca didnt make weight. griffin still wins this fight in my eyes.


so what you guys think? glo pana and area feel free to throw in you 2 cents as it will mean nothing to me but i will listen.

The UFC tonight was okay, wasn't good on paper but there were some good fights. I knew Tyson was going to crush Hermes Franca, that was a givin. Started out the paper view fight on a good note and a knockout. Was it me or did it look like that Tyson and Hermes were a little on the chubby side of things???

I was very impressed with Josh Koscheck's victory over the conceded Frank Trigg. That just shows that Trigg is done and needs to get out of the UFC. Josh's big right hand is very brutal.

I was very disappointed at Cro Cop's and Franklin's fight. In my opinion Franklin was not hungry for the fight. I believe he is almost done with his career in the UFC. He is a good fighter still but it doesnt seem that he wants that belt when he does move to the light heavyweight.

All in all I was very pleased with the three knockouts especially by the newcomer of the UFC.
Any thoughts on the fights tonight???

Oh yeah, Mayweather kicked some *** tonight as well. YEAH!!!

yes he was a little chubby looking tonight. no wonder he could make weight. still didnt matter as he got knocked out. trigg is done. wtf was that. i thought that fight got stopped early but still trigg was done either way. the last 2 fights were quite boring imo. cro cop is a ***** and franklin well.....his head wasnt in the game tonight. 104 promises to be much better.
