well funny thing was he seen the guy on the final table of the tourny and well he won the whole thing but it wasnt because of good play. he has 3-1 chiplead on me and the other guy with 3 to go. he doubled both us up pushing every hand. well he keep playing that style and well lets say he couldnt miss a flop. flopping 2 pair is a junk board or even once flopped a set with j3 os. anyways he went on to win the game by playing like a total donkey.

so yes every donkey has its day.

    Wow,
I wouldn't even think to push all-in in that type of situation.
I had no idea people could be dumb enough to fold here. I guess it always pays to give your opponents another decision to make. There's always a chance of them misreading the situation or misclicking.

But, I still don't think I would try this in a cash game where it would cost me additional money in rake (I know this example is from a tourney, I'm just saying).

i understand not to do it in a ring game but i did it because it was a tourny and i thought the best i could do is he will all and we split. the biggest reason for the push was for the reason of this happening. free chips

Maybe it was a misclick. I've had some really horrible misclicks online.

Its simple. You are smart and he/she is an idiot. On the presumption that this isnt a freeroll (holdempokerchat holds both free and buy-in) that guy shouldnt even be bothering playing poker. If you make dumb mistakes like that, and dont realize what youre doing, youre screwed. You made the right play, you were just lucky that he was a moron
