2 games stood out to me today as i was putting in my picks...
    Tennessee/Florida and USC/Washington.

YES, florida will probably romp Tennessee, however...will they beat them by 30??? this is usually a good game every year so my pick for the streak went to Tennessee to beat the spread at 30.

USC as i understand is having trouble with QB's right now. A freshman QB leading numerous drives against a solid Washington team...absolutely, but an injured freshman QB leading the way???...prob not...there's no question in mymind that USC wont win. I feel that this will be a low scoring game as USC shuts down WU's offense and USC's O struggles this week, but wins via the run game from Joe McKnight. My pick this game is the Under at 52.

    happy cfb saturday!

    big wins yesterday!!!
both picks were right on...except the part about USC winning...GOOD THING I PICKED WU TO BEAT THE SPREAD!!!! hahaha

I've been thinking about this pick all week and i want to drop some money on it because i feel so confident in it...
my pick for today, Sunday 9/20/09, is the Steelers @ DA Bears.
The bears are no match for the defending NFL champs, even if they are playing in Chi-city. This is pegged t be a "great game" but i just don't think this one sided affair will pan out to be that type of game. Steelers roll by atleast 10...bears might not even score a TD... Steelers covering 1 pt all day!

This is the third pick of three that I definitely completely with. I told everyone I knew to bet Washington to cover yesterday.

Default Redskins vs Giants week 1

was a good division game as usual would like to see the skins have more depth in the running game as they could have won if the had less turnovers.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??? MNF tonight Panthers @ Cowboys

here's my thoughts on this game...both teams are mediocre at best, both teams have no defense, cowboys will most likely pull a win off. But not by 9 points which is the spread i'm looking at. If you can, get your bets on the panthers beating the spread at 9 before the line drops by game time. ALSO, as stated before, neither team has a solid defense, so my BIG PICK this game is the over at 45. I know...thats a high over/under for an nfl game, but i see this game being 31-24, Cowboys ofcourse. Remember, each team only has to score 23 points...very easy with the lack of defense...

Goodluck and I can't wait to mop up the NDN freeroll game tonight!
    See you all then...

Attempting to rebound from this mondays floozy of a pick, one game stood out to me right away on Saturday, and thats the big game of the week no.4 LSU @ no. 14. My gut instincts on this game say that it could go either way. However, both teams score alot of points, and only LSU has shut down opponents offense, BUT, they haven't played anybody yet. Georgia has already played some solid teams and came out 3-1 so far in 4 games. I give georgia the edge in this one to cover the spread of 3 pts. Also, this could very well be a "barn-burner" of a game, so my guts tell me to go with the over at 50.5 pts. I'll keep you posted on some other picks on sat morning. Plus 2 big NFL picks this weekend on SUNDAY!!!

My upset pick of the week to the shigrin of LL players is
Kansas City beating the NY Giants.

You heard me!! KC is like 47-3 at home in last 50 games.
They are 0-3 and this is the NFL.
    Temps is the 40's.
And of course mine and Targetguy's brilliant pick of Seattle losing to Indy

Not a good idea to pick home teams to lose, no matter what team it is.
    Remember Detroit?

lol, last year the week Klink picked KC in the LL was the first game they'd won all season (if not one of the only ones!)

I like the Detroit Tiger to score 1 run and lose the American league Central to Minnesota today.

No way KC beats the Gmen. NYG are the best team in the NFL right now.

Lock of the day: Indy beats SEA by whatever the hell the spread is and Ravens beat the Pats, ignoring the spread. They don't need the points, the Ravens are the #2 best team in the NFL.

Also, GB to cover at home vs MIN.

It was the ONLY game they won that season. KC finished 1-11 last year. I picked them week 4 and they got their only win.

So obviously I picked them again week 4.

    Sweating this one hardcore.

KC rattled off 12 straight home wins vs. NFC foes beginning with a 20-17 OT victory vs. the N.Y. Giants (9/10/95), a streak that was snapped with a 13-3 loss vs. the N.Y. Giants (9/23/01).

As much as i hate Favre, I still think his team has more weapons than the Fudge-Packers. Given, the Packers D is LEGIT, i feel that old man Favre and A.P. will take the game over. If this game becomes a scorefest, which it may, look for the Vikes to give the ball to Favre to do with as he pleases, and A.P. will be forgotten about. But remember last year, A.P. ran wild for 192 Yds. and 2 touchdowns. My picks are as follows...

250 untis on the over @ 47 Pts.

100 units on the Packers to beat the spread @ 3.5

if you get offered Minn -3 or less, take Minnesota

    Minnesota 27-Green Bay24
