It is sad indeed. Kinda awesome/bittersweet that he outlasted MJ though.

Either way, the celebs that have died in the past couple years that I'll really miss are George Carlin and Tim Russert. Now those were class acts. But what an actor Swayze was still.

Man what is the deal with all these famous folks dying? I think the the one i miss the most is that old guy from grumpy old men. Him and his buddy the other old timer, where funny as could be together.

I am in a bit of shock. Just read about Swayze. It really sucks to start your day like this. Cancer sucks, too many people die from it. I think it will be the number one killer soon if they don't find a cure. Swayze will always be remembered for Dirty Dancing and the love he had for his wife.

The real unsung hero who's died recently though is Norman Borlaug, often called the greatest man in the universe. He's saved billions, and I mean BILLIONS of lives...have you heard of him? If not, you should. Here's a Wikipedia article about him as well as a video of his appearance on Penn and Teller's "Bull****!". FYI, the video does have some questionable language, so keep that in mind if something like that bothers you.

Dirty Dancing really brought him into the limelight, then there was Ghost too. Liked him as an actor and dancer. Red Dawn was another movie that I really enjoyed. He will be missed.
