Default Full Tilt pissing me off

So Full Tilt, like many gambling sites, doesn't accept my credit card.

So I tried to use an e-check.

    Hello Richard,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Please be advised that your account has been suspended pending verification of your identity and bank account ownership.

Please send scanned, clear copies of the following documents to security@fulltiltpoker.com:

    1) Photo ID:
One of the following: valid driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID that clearly shows your birth date and the date of issue or expiry.

    2) Proof of Bank Account Ownership:
Recent bank statement that clearly shows your name and the account number that was used/attempted for use with your Instant eChecks account.

Before sending copies of your documents, please ensure the following requirements are met:

    * The copies are clear and legible (96 to 150 DPI or higher recommended for scanned copies).
    * The copies include the full document (bill/pay stubs, folded papers and partial sections are not accepted).
    * Email attachments do not exceed 3 MB and are in JPEG (.jpg) format.

If you do not have access to a scanner, we will accept digital photos of the documents providing they meet the requirements above. If your camera has a macro feature (appears as a tulip icon), please enable it and take the photo within a 12 to 18-inch distance. If your camera does not have this option, please take the photo within a 24-inch distance.

Please note that your Full Tilt Poker account will remain suspended until we receive and verify legible copies of all requested documents.

Once we process your documentation we will contact you with an update on the status of your account.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Regards,

Did I mention it took them 2 days to tell me this, conveniently during the Iron Man Challenge and the Take 2 Promo? They already tanked my chances for the point per day iron man freeroll, now lets see if I can manage to get back on time for the Take 2 promo.

I have $20 at Full Tilt, I guess I will just throw it away then.

I have never liked Full Tilt.

Online poker is becoming a hassle.

I agree ..i'm always conspiracy skiddish with things like this.....why so many questions ..why do they need all that....we are giving them money....put a wait time on it and only allow it when it arrives...what is the problem?....I can only think that ..ok and here goes my mental flaws .... information is being gathered to use against us once the us government takes action to rip us off by over taxing us on this.....OR..... it is just one more way to get info to sell to others ....

Man i was having such a real hard time even gtting FT downloaded on my computer. I finally got it, but even when i had it before, the updates kept screwing up on me. Ft in my opinion is really beginning to lose its luster, and the MTT games are luck of the draw mostly with so many people in them. They are a great place for SnG and private games though, and if you ever get lucky enough to win big in the MTT, those have a great ROI. As far as all that security junk, that sucks, and Im not too sure I would want that much private info in the hands of a company that is certainly having some banking problems here lately.

well terp my advice to you is that u should have used a prepaid card to deposit there. kinda sucks that they are making u verify your acct but you got to think that for security purposes it has to be done. as far as it being a hassle online now adays yeah it is but we need to adapt in order to keep playing online.

Firstly - you guys are all just..... odd

1 - They HAVE to do this if they suspect anything. If sites dont do this, and someone is scamming them, they face huge fines, closure, and god knows what.

Would you rather play online and have to do this occasionally, or not play at all??

2 - Why is everyone so pissed off today? Dear god, just send them Id and be done with it.

My complaint is that I tried to deposit, they denied it, and then they locked me out of my account with no reason and took two days to respond to my emails.

I'm going to give them the info they want, deposit 20 bucks, claim my Take 2 promo, and then never deposit there again.
