Do you really think so. I am getting more used to it but it is still having quite a few technical issues. But things like this are what really irritate me the most...
Mind you I have three online classes that use Bb. One of those classes I was required to upgrade and update my computer mainly my Browser. So I use Mozilla Fire Fox and I upgrade and as soon as it was done I could not get back into Bb as Bb does not support the new browser. How stupid is that so far? I mean these people work together and are my professors. Scarry! Then I think ok, don't freak out just restore your computer to an earlier date, done, wrong. Firefox is gone now as with the upgrade it somehow deleted the older program file. I am not computer illiterate however I can't still find the older version any where on my computer at any date. In the mean time my security program now needs to reinstall a bunch of updates and will not work properly because my connection totally sucks. Truthfully patients could not have waited this one out. Any way I have it handled now. I use Firefox for everything except Bb and for them I use Netscape. That's my story. Don't know exactly why I said all of that but I thank you greatly for reading it. And I am so procrastinating sleep and study. yuck!
Wow globug! I'm sorry I didn't see this post earlier. It's sad that these kinds of things happen but you'll get your money back so rest assured.
When my information got stolen it was because I used a third party atm at a hospital I was visiting because my cousin was having a little baby.
Anyways long story short I called and got everything stopped. I had purchases being made in Las Vegas and California and was not there, obviously. Anyways it stopped and I got all the money back.
But the moral is never use third party atm machines either.
It had my banks name on it too. But it was still third party so be careful with those too.
do yourself a favor Glo, if it's an ATM-debit/credit card...talk to your bank and open up another checking/savings account that isn't linked to your card. Store a majority of your cash in the one that isn't linked to that card, and transfer money when you know your going to spend it in advance. This also cuts back on my spending. I do about 90 percent of my banking online and have never had a problem. I refuse to insert my card numbers online unless it's through a well known secure site.
well i had to get a new debt card as well.
a store in hong kong with a transaction id of strawberry lcd (and bunch of numbers) hacked into my account!
funny thing was that they would debt my account first and then credit my account for just a tad more maybe .10... after 3 months i found out b/c i was doing my balance sheet and after 3 months i was negative 6 dollars and figured everything out! oh man it took 4 hours to talk to my bank about this b/c they could not figure it out!
hackers are smart b/c i am sure a lot of people dont see these kind of things!!!
